This one is pretty nice and interesting! I like it +1.

How about Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant and Hurricane , those two would be kinda funny. Also, I like a Ring of Three Wishes in every EDH Deck.

Oh, and I forgot about Jolrael, Empress of Beasts , sorry :3

Didn't think there would be this many suggestions haha

Well I'm not going to go over every single one but as a rule i'm only decking 25 non-lands, so I have to be careful about card slots.

I don't really need a mana doubler mostly because there isn't a win con card that needs more than 20ish mana. the only one id consider decking is Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant because it would just be insane.

Any creature search isn't really needed either because I usually end up drawing most of my deck anyways.

What I do need is something I can reliably dump mana into, some form of permanent green control, some form of anti-decking or graveyard -> library stuff, or permanent permanent protection (not a typo).

And Primeval Titan is banned (thanks to those damned non-basics) along with Fastbond , both of which would be amazing in this deck

Ok, I'm going to say this without ANY sarcasm at all.

You should put a Wood Elemental in this deck.

what do you mean by "permanent green control" a permanent to control with, or something to blow up permanents, anyway, from your description of what you are looking for, i'd say you need Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre or possibly Emrakul, the Aeons Torn (or both). Annihilator is your best bet, plus they shuffle your graveyard into library for recursion.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is banrakul

funny, I just traded away my ulamog haha, but he would be a nice fit. Im more of saying spot removal when I say control.

Wonderfull deck. there are some cards that abuse all your lands even better like Rude Awakening and Allosaurus Rider . those are pretty fun. and maybe a Blanchwood Armor ? :D

Fastbond would work great! +1 for you, and good luck!

Mister_H says... #10

Fastbond is banbond (sadly)

Rude Awakening is pretty nice but I dont know what I would undeck for it

Allosaurus Rider has no trample, other cards work better

Blanchwood Armor , Strata Scythe is better in this deck imo

I love the deck idea +1.

Have you looked at Planar Portal to tutor for the cards you want in the order you want them?or Centaur Glade as another mana sink?

check out my deck only 10 non-lands? Let's go if you want some ideas for insane mana.

You run next to no non-permanents, ever consider Primal Surge ?

If you're looking for something to dump mana into, there's always Helix Pinnacle .

paperhead says... #14

75 basic Forests and no Dungrove Elder ? Or, at least Uktabi Wildcats .
For a mana dump, consider Helix Pinnacle and for protection consider Privileged Position .

I would definitely run Omnath, Locus of Mana in this. Love the idea :)

Mistcutter Hydra and Polukranos, World Eater ? X costs can mean massive creatures!

Have you considered Rowen or Seer's Sundial ? Seems good here. Also, Trailblazer's Boots aren't great, consider something like Primal Bellow or Blanchwood Armor instead. And Beacon of Creation is way better than Howl of the Night Pack . As far as other good stuff goes, Dungrove Elder is great here.

Beacon of Creation is amazing for this deck, thank you

And the main problem with the x/x or +x/+x for forests is that its fine that I have a 40/40 out but most EDH decks have at least a couple blockers at that point in the game. In my opinion massive creatures aren't that great unless they have trample, some way to reliably land, or they can withstand removal

Trailblazer's Boots allow liege, malimo, and baloth to land or possibly my commander given that I add some +x/+x stuff

So Dungrove Elder might be ok considering he has hexproof but Mistcutter Hydra and Blanchwood Armor are just meh

Primal Bellow Is a maybe, since I have enough token spawn that I can pretty much guarantee it landing but id rather do a Elder of Laurels at that point

Polukranos, World Eater nice effect, hes a maybe since I want to keep the land count at 75

You should play Fastbond , you can play a ton of lands per turn, and if you have a Courser of Kruphix playing more lands cost no life.

+1

Omnath, Locus of Mana works great for a Helix Pinnacle and is just kinda big and beefy in general. slap on some boots and you have game. or find something else that gives trample.

Primeval Bounty would get you tons of lifegain at the very least.

DarkHero Already in the decklist

usohatchi Fastbond is unfortunately banned

Alright Alright, I'll give you a few pointers to help get to your crucial cards more consistently.

Teferi's Puzzle Box - Even if you have ONE card, you get to dump that land to the bottom and draw another card, hopefully a non land. The other AMAZING thing is that it wrecks opponent's plans. They basically hope to draw into an answer or play whatever they get, Deck manipulation is minimized with this card which black and blue edh colors hate.

Tower of Fortunes - seems very interesting. Super expensive and I don't know how fast your group is, but if they aren't not super competitive or you are good at magic group politics, it is worth trying.

This deck seems PERFECT for Recycle , i've always wanted to try this card, haha. Another Horn of Greed + non land cards. The downside is not bad at all for this deck, honestly. Don't run it in Damia-75-land though! Them together and you may deck out.

Another possibility to try is group hug draw. You will be playing more of your cards per turn (I can almost guarantee it) and 75% of your deck can't be countered by spells! So, them having a few answers is okay. You can race them to the finish line. It should be a bit more fun and helps with group politics. Here's your options:

Howling Mine , Temple Bell , Anvil of Bogardan , and Font of Mythos
