This is my first try at building a sacrifice deck. It's been doing pretty well at the kitchen table, but I'm trying to get it to run smoother.
Basically it's a Blood Artist deck that runs on cheap tokens and cheap critters with several sac engines in play.
Blood Artist +
Thatcher Revolt
is a hilarious combo, especially if you have more than one Blood Artist in play, since you'll end up sacrificing the Thatcher humans in your next turn anyway. The same holds true for Krenko's Command obviously.
Blasphemous Act is a nice way to wipe the board clean, and with enough Blood Artists present, it usually wins me the game.
Goblin Arsonist
is there because it's such a fun card to use and abuse with sacrificing, and I added
Traitorous Blood
because it seemed like the dick thing to do.
Obviously I have a lot of trouble dealing with enchantments (Damn you all to hell, Oblivion Ring.), since I have 0 removal, but I have plenty of ways to deal with creatures, I guess, with both Bone Splinters and
Traitorous Blood
.
I'm not sure whether or not I have too many things going on that require sacrificing. I could switch out the Bone Splinters for some Murders or Doom Blades for instance. I'm also not entirely sure if having both Krenko's Command and
Thatcher Revolt
is overkill as far as generating tokens is concerned.
If only I had money for Olivia Voldaren, some
Vexing Devil
s or some Falkenrath Aristocrats. I'm on a tight budget :(
