Free STUFF

There's a reason we hate even cmc here at the Odd Tavern, we only draw a card if Yennett reveals it! Lame! We want free stuff whenever possible, which is why NO card in this deck has even cmc, except for lands, the Tavern wouldn't be around without lands, so they're cool.

What To Expect

Expect the deck to get as many Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Vampiric Tutor effects to ensure we get really nice things for free.

Ruling Warnings

Penance. With Penance you "choose" not target, meaning if there are no options, you can just activate it, but if there are legal options, our commander including, then you have to choose that.

The Combo

Let's say you play Expropriate and you get 3 extra turns, if you get Liliana Vess and Aminatou, the Fateshifter, you win. Why? You get up to two -2's on Liliana before you have to flicker her with Aminatou, letting you get any card for as long as you get turns, which Nexus of Fate happens to return to the deck after being cast, so it's infinite turns as long as you can swing with Yennett and keep the two walkers on the field.
