So the archetype of this deck is the exploit Battlefield Thaumaturges ability, making X spells super cheap and controlling the hell outve the board.
However, if I dont have Battlefield Thaumaturge, then Im in some trouble, so thats where Bident of Thassa and Prognostic Sphinx come in, these guys can Scry and draw me into the cards I need, specifically Battlefield Thaumaturge.
Two awesome cards in this deck are Glimpse the Sun God and Icy Blast, for only 1 mana I can tap out the whole board! However, Im almost gonna kick Icy Blast, because unless its the second noncreature spell I cast this turn, theres almost no way I can proc Ferocious, making it a worse version of Glimpse the Sun God. Another awesome X spell is Curse of the Swine, for only UU I can turn as many creatures as I like into 2/2 Pigs!!
As mentioned before, Bident of Thassa is an important card in my deck, not only can it help me draw into what I need, it can combo nicely with Polymorphist's Jest, turning all my creatures into French people. Because they eat frogs? Ah, never mind
Im not really sure why Im running Seeker of the Way, I feel that I need some 2-drop creatures, and his prowess can turn him into a 3/3 or a 4/4 with lifelink, so thats fine. Im also not sure about Wall of Frost, because if all the opponents creatures are tapped or Frogs, theres probably more offensive things I could run.
Im thinking of putting in Sudden Storm, 1U for two Crippling Chills, and Scry 1, is quite powerful.
As for the mana base, keep in mind this is kina budget, and I only actually have 1 Mana Confluence, but its not a bad thing to only run 1.
Any help would be extremely appreciated, as I want to get this deck up and running for this weeks FNM.
