The idea for this deck is pretty simple swarm mechanics. Make bug army, buff bug army, swing with bug army. Turns out most people can't block 52 or more bugs, spiders, and scorpions. Wraths wipe my tokens alright, but as long as I keep casting basic 1 or 2 cost buggos, they just make Izoni's ability better when she's recast, so my army just comes back stronger and faster. Other than swinging with Triumph of the Hordes or Overrun, there are a few other win-cons in here: Rotwidow Pack can ping opponents for number of spiders I control, and so can Ishkanah, Grafwidow for a few extra mana.

This deck was created at the time in my deck building experience where I was so beholden to theme that it really impacted how the deck functioned. I am still a stickler, but I think I've eased up enough that most of my newer decks are still decently operational. I've since added a few pieces that trigger Izoni, Thousand-Eyed's ETB ability more than once: Conjurer's Closet, Strionic Resonator, and Voyager Staff.

I won a proxy of Gaea's Cradle a while back when my playgroup held a mock tournament, so I use that in here for shits. I subbed it for a forest in this list so the cost of the deck is accurate. I'd love to have Arachnogenesis in here but I just can't justify the expense. If there are any other additions you think this deck could benefit from, please comment below!
