Updated for Standard. The strategy here is simple: maximize your firepower for effective T3, T4 and T5 plays. Boros generally relies on finishing duels earlier rather than later, but the power curve in standard and popularity of midrange can often draw games out. This deck is built with the versatility of competing in both an aggro and midrange setting.

Rounding out the 1cmc drops are Rakdos Cackler and Legion Loyalist. The deck only runs 7 1cmc creatures because it also uses 4 Temple of Triumph. This helps maintain a draw probability and consistency so that you don't have a wasted first turn.

Added some of the new Boros cards from Gatecrash to the deck... The Boros Guildgate card doesn't work yet, so for now it's just Evolving Wilds to stand in for it. Deck has majorly focused its shift to creatures, with minimal burns spells but still some strong card draw. So far plays pretty good.
