Why Arid Mesa instead of Terramorphic Expanse ?

Just for the same-turn playability I guess. With Terramorphic Expanse you have to bring the land in tapped, but with Arid Mesa you get to bring it in untapped (albeit you pay 1 life to do so). Although, I guess the color draw may not be as critical here as it seems, and thus maybe -4 Arid Mesa and +2 Terramorphic Expanse , +1 Mountain and +1 Plains will do the trick. What do you think?

Also just wanted to point out for anyone who reads this, that I think there is potential for Bludgeon Brawl in here with some non-creature, non-equipment artifacts (like card:Norn's Annex, Mimic Vat or Prototype Portal ). That enchantment, coupled with golems, maybe Puresteel Paladin and Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer could make for some awesome buffed golems swinging their stat/versatility boosting artifacts for crazy damage. Thoughts?

I'd recommend against the Bludgeon Brawl , as you would lose some steady aggression for what is half the time going to be a card you just won't need. The equipment it makes is not cost-effective, and won't save your golems from removal. As is, the Splicers and Legionnaires are speedy high-hitters that can put pressure on an opponent fast. IMO though, you HAVE to run more protection magic than this in a deck running Precursor Golem A lot of decks are heavy on spotremovel, and the golem makes them very happy indeed.

Also, could you check out some of my newer decks? Such as Enchanted Greed. They are all fun, but a second opinion is always much appreciated. :D

True Conviction is overkill.

No excuse for a red deck not to have 4 Lightning Bolt . With so many artifacts, add in another Galvanic Blast

-2 True Conviction , +1 Lightning Bolt , +1 Galvanic Blast

Also, look into Conversion Chamber

Get Vexing Devil out. It doesn't fit and it doesn't do what you want it to.

What do you have against Vexing Devil in the deck?

I do agree in that he is a little unsuited for the deck in aggro terms, but he still is a great play once i've established a board presence. He was standing in for Legion Loyalist but Tapped hasn't added him yet.

I hope they print some sort of R/W anthem card to go along with all of these Battalion abilities. Another one i'm giving some thought to is Spark Trooper

What about Frontline Medic over Precinct Captain ? Seems like it'd be fun to keep beating down your opponent when their bigger creatures can't do anything to get rid of your little ones.
