The deck is base on gaining life, and survive until the angels enter the field. The Sheeps and goat do the blocking. Then there is other 4 legged friends and some humans. Cool eh? What do u think? Have yet to make sideboard.
Best to start fast. Soulmender, Nyx-Fleece Ram and Hopeful Eidolon to start. Let the attacks through and keep healing. The ram can block well.
Last Breath to get rid of opponents creatures and can target own creatures for the elusive 4 life when angelic accord on the field. But feels like I can replace this with something else?? Not sure. At the moment I replaced with 2 Path of Bravery and more archangels.
Voracious Wurm as a threat when gaining lots of life to get a big creature. Bestow it with Hopeful Eidolon is also good.
Courser of Kruphix helps to get to the angelic accord faster, blocks, and gain life. The Fiendslayer Paladin can gain life , tough to remove, first strike. It also works beautifully with Bow of Nylea giving it death touch.
The bow works by allowing me to attack with the turn one eidolon since it gives it death touch, making it annoying to block and life link 1. Then it can also heal 3. Allowing me to heal up to 4 health for Angelic Accord. Adding counters works with the paladin and anything the eidolon bestows. Also good against mill and small flyers.
Path of Bravery and pump up the team and heal loads.
Brindle Boar is there because it can activate Angelic Accord the moment it enters the field.
Trading Post can gain the 4 life I need each turn for lots of angels. Also provides a beautiful goat to block stuff when angelic accord is not around.
To play the angels, bestow them with Hopeful Eidolon. It helps to get more angels when it does combat damage.
Speaking of angels, Archangel of Thune can go insane with the counters with all the life gain going on. Especially with multiple archangels, path of bravery, soul mender, first strike lifelink paladin. Crazy.
