The owner at my shop had something like this. Have you considered Slash Panther? Its kinda a crappy card because of the expense but with the extractor its not a big deal. Vault Skirge is cool too.

you're right Slash Panther is actually viable with rage extractor, especially with haste I could see it throwing out someones defence, I was also considering Vexing Devil mainly because it actually works similar to the extractor if they take the damage.

Another thing he ran for protection purposes was Apostle's Blessing. I got a good chuckle out of him making his stuff pro color and burning for 2 at the same time.

I almost forgot about Apostle's Blessing- though I wonder if Spellskite could be more useful just in that it can be more versatile while still being able to redirect both target creature and target artifact spells? Although it doesn't trigger the extractor

Since you are going to be spending some life to cast spells, Glimmerpost might be worth looking into.

fair point, I find that I have enough to deal with creatures with burns as well as Galvanic Blast Act of Aggression and Tumble Magnet but I'll try it out. I think it starts getting tricky when you splash that many colours though I spose Vault Skirge recovers a decent amount of the health you might be paying.
