"EXPLOOOSION!" - Megumin, Konosuba

Konosuba is an anime that does a lot of things right: comedy, fantasy setting, tone, and especially characterization. My favorite character in the series is Megumin: an arch-mage who specializes in explosion magic because it's the only one she likes. Is she powerful enough to learn multiple types and styles of magic to be a true asset to the party? Yes. Will she? Heck no, not when there's castles, zombies, and demons to explode! Megumin's style might not be the most efficient, but it is the most thorough, and that's the approach I took with this deck.

Megumi-, er, Neheb's importance in this deck is that he generates a lot of extra mana after combat steps, especially on our turn. Thus, the main plan is to ramp into Neheb, swing or use spells like Sizzle or Slagstorm to hurt our opponents, and use the generated mana to fuel big X-costed spells for the win. Damage doublers like Furnace of Rath or Fire Servant help make even the smaller burns into a blaze, and shenanigans with Stuffy Doll or Pyrohemia always help to keep the fire burning.
