But how is that any different from anything else? Falkenrath Aristocrat would suffer the same fate.

Also, it appears as though you think you can return Archwing Dragon to your hand from anywhere. This ability only works while it's on the battlefield.

Doesn't it work if it's in the graveyard? I thought it did but i guess not. I know that it can't from exile, but I'll look into it.

No. Unless a card specifically says so, it only works on the battlefield.

Besides, I really like Midnight Haunting over Lingering Souls because it's an instant, but the flashback is really convenient which is why I used it. My mana base worked relatively consistent, but this will be so much better. Thanks so much zandl!

I would take out the Knight of Infamy and Knight of Glory . You're going for overrunning people with tokens and Hellrider triggers. Trying to trigger exalted will only impede you. I might go with Elite Inquisitor or Vampire Nighthawk .

I usually am off to a slower start than I'd like. In games 2 and 3 they side in some enchantment removal which usually kills my tokens for good. I'll try some Vampire Nighthawk s. I like the card, but I have to work on my mana base more for a double black and double white from Silverblade Paladin .

You only have two source of tokes, Lingering Souls and Gather the Townsfolk . Take out the Intangible Virtue s for maybe Sorin, Lord of Innistrad to give ALL of your creatures the power boost. I assume you aren't running all of the dual lands for cost effectiveness?

Whats with the Skyknight Legionnaire ? Isn't this supposed to be standard?

It will be in standard when Gatecrash comes out. I'm just a little excited for it. I'm currently just testing, but I don't know how it will work out. I might need to swap it for some more 2 drops, but I feel it will fit in just fine.

@scienceguy11:Yeah I don't have the Blood Crypt s yet, but I have all the other dual lands. I'll test around using them instead of evolving wilds, but thanks for the help. I completely forgot about Sorin, Lord of Innistrad . Plus, opponents can't remove the emblem he gives. I do really like having vigilance on my spirit tokens because most deck I've played have no real flying defense other than Vampire Nighthawk . It's great because I can swing for 4 and still be able to block. I'll have to play around with Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and Intangible Virtue . Maybe 2 of each? I've been looking for more low cost cards with haste. Hopefully there will be some in Boros from Gatecrash. Thanks for the input! much appreciated.

Hey if your looking for Blood Crypts I have some that I don't have much use for. We could work out a trade.
January 7, 2013 7:15 p.m.
imo, -2 Vampire Nighthawk (double black on turn 3 is tough) and +2 either Champion of the Parish or Lightning Mauler

XyZiron:Oh I know. I just tested it yesterday and it's almost impossible to get out. It just kept screwing me over. It will be better when gatecrash comes out but I'll look around. Thanks!

I had a friend who played dark boros tokens, and his favorite interaction was Hellrider and Thatcher Revolt . Try it out, they are pretty good.

I might take out one or two Thalia, Guardian of Thraben . Running 4 makes them dead draws once you have on. You rarely run 4 of the same legend.
January 17, 2013 9:02 p.m.
Maybe you could run Vault of the Archangel to give your little tokens deathtouch.

@nanoex1: I had Thatcher Revolt in the deck a while ago but it wasn't working. Now it had amazing synergy with Hellrider , Falkenrath Aristocrat , Intangible Virtue , and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad . Thanks!
@scienceguy11: I want to have a full playset of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben because she works so well against control decks. I need to have her in my starting hand or else she loses value against opponents. Setting a control deck back a turn is crucial in winning. If they remove one I might have another one in hand as well. Thanks for the input though. I may have to remove her for the sole fact that most of my cards aren't creatures anymore.

@Gamer7129: I've thought about it and I feel like the lifelink is why I'd want it in there. The main win con for almost all decks is damage, so why not have some lifelink. I'll probably throw 1 in and pull a swamp for it. Thanks!

-1 Hellrider, -1 Aristocrat, and -1 Paladin. +3 Stromkirk Noble. Stromkirk Noble and Silverblade Paladin are amazing together before/after Spark Trooper resolves. It should also help with the tempo some.

Yea you're right. One of the major problems I had while playing was really heavy control decks. I know this is no reason to not have it in the deck, but I fear that it'll be exiled by Syncopate or Dissipate .
