I used to run a mono-black Infect.dek. It worked quite well when it wanted to. I ran things like Throne of Geth and other Proliferate stuff, since it helps you get those Poison counters on your opponent faster. You can even run B/G for things like Titanic Growth , Vines of Vastwood and friends. And you can go B/U like Ev0clipse and run things like Artful Dodge and the one blue Enchantment that helps you Proliferate. Just some thoughts/ideas you might want to consider. But mono-black is just as fun.

Thank you both! Your suggestions are nice but Ill keep playing mono-black. Throne of Geth sounds really interesting. Maybe I could use more artifact creatures like Ichorclaw Myr to benefit a bit more from it.

Interesting use of infected with a low budget that never hurts.

cut Signal Pest for Ichorclaw Myr Much better creature. You could prob cut Skittles too. Having one in the deck wont really benefit you :/ Unless you could get a second. If you can I would do that and just remove one Whispering Specter

If you want to stay mono black, you could maybe use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

I really like this, +1. I would definitely recommend some Thoughtseize /Inquisition of Kozilek . I like the use of Signal Pest , but if you need something to cut, I think it would have to be that or Plague Myr .

Omg I never expected all these comments, thank you all! Let us see... Skithiryx doesnt do much in this deck, I hate drawing it at turn 1-2... Maybe I should cut it and put another creature or maybe some enchantment like Bad Moon . Otherside, Signal Pest is the only one 1Drop in this deck and it has proved been truly useful always. Instead I could cut Whispering Specter for Ichorclaw Myr : less mana cost and painful to block. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is a great card but in this deck, although monoblack, if you see I have too much stuff with colorless mana so I dont think its going to make the difference. Thanks to all of you again!

I have always loved infection decks. I have built two or three so far and right now my favorite is The Simic Plague. It is consistent, and gets the job done. I really focus more on proliferate though. Mostly because once they have a counter, it is guaranteed, as opposed to swinging and hoping. Although I'm sure the destruction system you run nets you close to the same results. :) Good deck.

Why do you have 4x Devour Flesh in the sideboard and in the mainboard? Some discard like Duress should be in mainboard because is the simplest way to take care of enchants and artifacts

Omg its simply that I have made a mistake u.u thanks for telling to me!

Impressive; +1
I have been toying with the idea of building an infect deck but did not want to rebuild the top 8 archetype... Your listing is very tempting since I currently use two B and Br decks...
I would switch some removal for disruption, as other comments suggest: it might prove more versatile and also better manacurve-wise.... Eg replace Go for the Throat with Thoughtseize (or Inquisition of Kozilek or Duress for budget constraints)...

Gild could be good in this deck, it can exile the indestructibles and give you some colourless mana for all those artifacts. idk, something to think about.

Dark Ritual s would be fantastic to have, allowing you to put a three drop out on turn 1.

Thanks to all of you! I know, Thoughtseize is simply awesome and much better than Doom Blade for example, but I would like to keep this deck relatively budget. Maybe in the future I will run the expensive stuff! Duress is on the sideboard because my first goal is to keep clean the battlefield and free of threatening creatures. Gild is a very nice card, but a bit expensive in terms of mana cost and I already have Dismember to deal with indestructible/regenerating guys. And Dark Ritual is really, really useful, but it is not legal in Modern, which is the format this deck runs. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions!

I would consider the splash that someone already mentioned.. in the form of Mutagenic Growth running 3 or 4 of these and, say 2 Overgrown Tomb makes it a very easy to manage splash with the potential to help you out a lot.
June 30, 2014 9:33 a.m.
if you are only splashing for Mutagenic Growth dont bother playing with your mana base since you can pay with life. but it wouldnt be a bad idea to splash for Rancor or that one drop elf whos name escapes me at the moment

Borozhov K-von Wouldnt be better to run black things like Vampire's Bite or Virulent Swipe ? And what should I cut instead? Removal?
June 30, 2014 5:25 p.m.
Virulent Swipe is good too, I just lke Mutagenic Growth because it can be used on 0 mana open, and can save your creature as a combat trick. As for cuts, removal is an option but I would try and balance it- maybe pull a Plague Myr , a Doom Blade and a Go for the Throat , see what K-von says.

really cool deck but i would replace Dismember with Grasp of Darkness

czblb Yeah, its a nice card but Dismember can be cast for 1 colorless if I need it urgently, besides the -5/-5 can kill greater creatures! Anyway, I will keep your suggestion in mind. Im glad you like the deck, thanks for commenting!

I would vary your removal suite. Victim of Night , Geth's Verdict , Disfigure , Drown in Sorrow , Slaughter Pact , even Bile Blight and Illness in the Ranks deserve consideration for sideboard. I think Dark Betrayal is too narrow for your sideboard, and you'd likely want to consider some better removal.
I run the version of this deck with heavy hand disruption, and I run 1x Slaughter Pact , 1x Geth's Verdict , 2x Victim of Night , 3x Disfigure , 1x Dismember and a Gatekeeper of Malakir . I also run one of Damnation , but that can be pricey. I run more Geth's Verdict and Drown in Sorrow in the board.
I agree that Dismember is a poor choice for 4 of. Four life is a BIG deal. Also, what do you have to deal with that's a 5/5 that you can't kill with your other removal? The only thing that might happen is that you have only an inkmoth to cast, but how often does that happen? I think that it is a good card for nonblack decks, but you have so many better options on color.
Also, I have had a lot of success with Bojuka Bog uncounterable graveyard hate is pretty sweet.

Budget and competitive deck :), if you wanna through same additional money into this, it can get better though.

I wanted to build a Infect deck for a long time and here are some very nice cards i would use! I personally woulndt play it mono black but B/U. Get rid of 4xBad Moon and 2x Glaring Spotlight . Put in some Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek and some Corrupted Resolve for control. Instead of Plague Stinger i would play Blighted Agent .
