The very premise of this deck is to use cards that benefit from having +1/+1 counters on them.

So the key cards that benefit from +1/+1 counters are Abzan Battle Priest , Abzan Falconer , and. This enables my creatures with counters to have lifelink and flying.

Some powerful combos in this deck include Citadel Siege + Hardened Scales so that I get 3 +1/+1 counters every combat step.

This deck needs to be played in a very specific way. That is, to play offensively while always having protection mana up for removal spells. Cards like Feat of Resistance, Dromoka's Command and Valorous Stance and Inspiring Call do just that.

Some utility cards in this deck include Den Protector which can really be abused in this deck. Not only does it bring a card from the GY back to your hand, but it also has Pseudo-evasion. Its megamorph ability gives it an easy +1/+1 counter and if you pump this card with Citadel Siege, Your opponent will have a hard time blocking this creature. Most people use Den Protector to just bring back a card, but this deck can do so much more than that.
