The deck is supposed to have 3 main goals to accomplish what i need. Revolving around 2 main cards that decide on how I want the deck to work. For an opponent with a slower deck, slower meaning 7 turns to set up, I can kill them by turn 7 with Cathars Crusade and an Increasing devotion set up, with a possible parallel lives prior to Cathars. (With the always awesome Temporal Mastery's giving me a little boost of power) Plus if i have a tribal deck, Rider of Gavony Provides the protection i need for an easy overrun.Faster opponents get the Intangible Virtue with Zealous Conscripts, its so easy to set up Champion of the Parish and give tokens that +1/+1 with vigilance, meanwhile I have my fiend hunters, obilivion rings, and banishing strokes keeping the little things off the field. So by the time turn 5 or so rolls around my opponent has juicy creature out like Odric, i snatch the creature up with Zealous Conscripts for the kill.
Meanwhile my deck already has subtle abillities with it, for example if my opponent lays on some heavy damage, With 5 health my Fateful Hour abilites kick in, So if there is a Thraben Doomsayer out on the field it gives all creatures I control a +2/+2 counter, giving a dramatic punch before an attack. Not to mention Gather the Townsfolk essentially becomes an Increasing Devotion for a 2 drop. Also the deck has the ever looming Parallel lives, Kessig Malcontent with cavern of souls combo. Most of the time my opponent thinks I'm going to attack with all my creatures when in fact I'm going to cast Kessig Malcontents before an attack, giving me a good 12 direct damage (or however many humans i have out, i mean an 8 damage hit even if i haven't dealt damage all turn leaves them with 12 health, and if i have 6 tokens with vigilance that are 2/2's thats already 12 not including whatever else is attacking. Most of the time i'm tracking how much health the opponent has so when i do play Kessig, its gonna be a for sure victory)
I just wanted to share my deck strategy with everyone ,see what input everyone has. I get joked alot that my Humans are basically goblins. I have kept up with Krenko Mob Boss pretty well , since if i have two parallel lives out with an increasing devotion you're looking at a 20 humans instantly. Please let me know good sideboard options, The pillar of flame and what not are for Delvers, obviously a big weakness if flying but I try to keep the opponent on defense not offense.
