I wanted something that was both with a good performance, realiable and with style.

Rathern than swarming with soldier tokens as main source of creatures, this deck works on building up sinergy with each card, buffing the ones on the field and ensuring they can deliver the blow when it's needed with chirurgical precision.

The card:Nixborn Sheidlmate is a simple creature to have 1 mana drop that can can be used later to even buff some important soldier like Field Captain + Archetype of Courage that are both source of First Strike.

Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit is a great card you want in at early game, you want her in at turn 2 and Thalia's Lieutenant is there to just keep on buffing while Preeminent Captain is one of the Aces allowing for a very quick drop of Captain of the Watch or Field Marshal .

The two Odric, Lunarch Marshal and Odric, Master Tactician works great to obtain control and deliver those strikes with utter precision.

Danitha Capashen, Paragon is the only Knight in and Non Soldier in the deck but she brings her martial prowness with her and her good use of the equipments and along Aerial Responder is a great card that provides a ton of buffs

Godsend and Shadowspear are there for themaic reasons and cause they allow so options against those decks packing "indestructible" creatures in great number.

The other big sinergy is with Elspeth, Undaunted Hero + Elspeth's Devotee making sure you have the Planeswalker in all your games where you will be able to defend her and reach her Ultimate ability, ensuring a devastating charge should Odric decide to not show up.

Thalia, Heretic Cathar and Baird, Steward of Argive are more defensive slowing down the opponent when he's too fast to become overwhelming.

Lately some bonus card stays in the deckside as Archetype of Courage as they only comes into necessity when the opponent is making a great use of "First Strike" or Adanto Vanguard to work with Odric, Lunarch Marshal to give everyone indestructible.
