I'd suggest dropping 2 Mizzium Mortars and add 2 Cyclonic Rift . Cyclonic is so valuable against tokens, enchantments, artifacts, and creatures mortars cant hit. Also, If you can I'd get 1 Master of Cruelties . When he is dropped, their life is on a clock and you can bring him back with Havengul Lich .

Standard deck firetruck102. Kederekt Creeper is from Shards of Alara block, which makes it modern legal but not standard. :P Although I do remember the good ol' bugger. MAN he was obnoxious!

Have you done any more testing against Junk Rites or Esper control since those that you listed? I'm thinking about taking a Grixis Control build to some tournaments and I'm worried about those matchups in particular, because we have more than enough tools after sideboard to deal with aggro matchups I think.

Also, how about Possibility Storm on the Esper Control matchup? You have fairly consistent draws from it if you're casting stuff, but Sphinx blanks for them, along with countermagic and creatures like Aetherling.

Possibility Storm hurts us as much as (if not more than) the opponent since we're running a control build. I think the storm would be great in a Jund list that focuses on Rakdos's Return and Sire Of Insanity . This way, when you go into topdeck mode (which should be BEFORE you cast the Sire) you're hindering the opponent even more!

Well I mean, you only have four countermagic spells in the entire deck, and everything else is either removal, or good stuff. Your sorceries are both very good spot removal, and your other instants are either removal or draw. The rest are all good stuff that you would never be unhappy to get, I think.

Thank you! This deck has been my baby for a long while now, and I deeply enjoy playing with it. Even more so than my Tournament lists! In fact tomorrow I'll be participating in a Tourney with my Jund list (set to private after I made a few changes; knowledge is power in the current Meta). However, at the next local tourney, I'll probably take this list just to see how well it does in a truly competitive Meta!

Avenged Sevenfold ftw!! m/

Anyways, I really like the deck, gives me inspiration for a grixis deck of my own that i'm working on. +1

Thank you! I'm trying my hardest to keep Grixis competitive in tournament play and I think this is as close as it gets!

Have you looked the playablility of 1cmc removal such as Pillar of Flame or Tragic Slip or Electrickery ? or cheaper board wipes like Mutilate or, potentially, Blasphemous Act and Electrickery (again)? to make the deck maybe a bit faster.I really like the deck, it reminds me of the grixis cruel control deck I ran just after rotation. I never won FNM with it, but regularly came second to either the UW/RUW control deck or mono-R/RB aggro.

Also, I was wondering your thoughts on the fuse cards Turn / Burn , Far / Away , and Breaking / Entering in a deck like this?

I'm very interested in hearing what your thoughts are, seeing your deck has inspired me to try grixis again this weekend.
