I run the Baubles in mine: Urza's Bauble, Mishra's Bauble, and Conjurer's Bauble as cheap, reusable draw. Tangle Wire is also useful.

Without reanimation, Sheoldred, Whispering One seems bad. Your removal package isn't bad, but I'd highly recommend Force of Vigor and Nature's Claim to handle artifacts and enchantments. Vampiric Tutor is also awesome if you can afford it.

I've also seen some Glissa lists run Attrition + Ornithopter as a lock combo.

I'm curious what Thornbite Staff is for, I feel like that's a potential cut.

I agree with the above suggestion to run the Baubles.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the comments!

bushido_man96 - I do already have Conjurer's Bauble in the list, but I forgot about Urza's Bauble. It's probably better than Ichor Wellspring in this build. I'll definitely swap those. Tangle Wire is interesting, but I am not really into playing mana denial type stax.

Daedalus19876 - Good point on Sheoldred. I just love the card so much haha. A lot of my removal package can hit multiple permanent types which is why I didn't feel the need for more specific removal, but I do have a Force of Vigor sitting around so I can see about adding it. Thornbite Staff is basically a board wipe with Glissa on the battlefield due to her deathtouch. Viridian Longbow is another option with her. I've seen Ashnod's Altar + Grave Pact + Hex Parasite in Glissa before, but not Attrition + Ornithopter. I'll have to consider it.

Hi_diddly_ho_neighbor: I forgot about Glissa's deathtouch -- in that case, keep it in haha.

Daedalus19876 and bushido_man96 - How do you feel about cards like Hunted Troll, Grismold, the Dreadsower and Genesis Chamber in a deck like this to ensure opponents have creatures so I can trigger Glissa?

I've had Grismold recommended to me, so I think it would be worth a try.

I'd probably skip on the troll, but go with the chamber.

Have you noticed an issue with opponents not having creatures at times?

Not too much, but my meta has a number of low creature count decks running around, so I thought maybe running a couple cards besides Forbidden Orchard to ensure triggers might be worth it.

Cranial Plating can help to finish.

Do you feel you need more removal for the Attrition and Ornithopter combo? If so, Increasing Ambition seems really highly costed for what it gets you.

bushido_man96: Cranial Plating is an excellent idea and pairs well with the Marionette Master. Thank you for the suggestion.

I was just kicking around the idea of Attrition + Ornithopter combo over Glissa + Thornbite Staff. However, since deck slots are so tight, I think I'll just stick with the combo requiring fewer deck slots.

I ran Increasing Ambition because I was out of other black tutor cards in my possession and I like that I can still cast it from my graveyard if it gets self-milled. However, I think I am going to move towards Scrapyard Recombiner instead. It is more restrictive, but it still can find my finishers and Glissa can always reanimate the Recombiner.

So I think part of the deck's problem is that I focused to much on recurring value (i.e. the Bauble pieces). I am going to re-evaluate how many of those I really need, as well as some of the under performing cards. I might replace a few of them with some more impactful cards like Myr Battlesphere, Duplicant, Hangarback Walker, and Cranial Plating.
