I'll always cast it EoT, so Anger of the Gods will never scare me. Bile Blight is certainly an issue though, so it will get sided out against black, which will certainly be loaded up on it due to Elspeth.

I would be a bit concerned about mana considering you are running Bile Blight Last Breath and Dissolve . When I made the decision to play esper instead of UB I pretty much had to decide that I wasn't going to play blight, as good as it is against Jeskai. I think that both Despise and Thoughtseize could be reasonable replacement options.

I want Bile Blight in the sideboard at least, simply because it is so good against Jeskai. I think putting Thoughtseize into the mainboard would be a good idea though. Thanks for the sugestion.

I havn't run into very many mana problems while playing this, despite a lot of cards having double mana symbols. Having 20 dual lands sure helps.

I'm thinking I should add Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth .

Yes, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is necessary in any multi-colored deck running black.

Blue Moon this is a deck I copied from the BNG pro tour, and I am a huge fan of the deck. Thats why it came to mind.

I agree, you should cut the Flooded Strand because black is the color that you most need untapped early so cutting a Polluted Delta is out of the question.

Was thinking about building esper, but still not sold it's better than straight UB right now. Would you say the Jace's Ingenuity s are necessary, or could I run more threats/removal and get away with just Dig Through Time .

I've found that running 4 of each, with less removal to be better.

A more removal dense deck with less draw would work too, but I'd rather have more draw, to hopefully have more than one answer to something in hand.

Seeker of the Way is really good in Jeskai burn/tempo decks, but not here. I've already said no to Jeskai Elder for the same reason. I'd play Jeskai Elder here before I'd play Seeker of the Way . The looting ability would be better; ditching deas cards to find better ones.

Both are bad here though. I want to hold onto spells to respond to stuff. Not to trigger prowess for the sake of triggering prowess.

The deck looks good as I commented earlier, but I do feel that a Negate or two should be in the sideboard as so much red damage is saturating standard as of late.

Now that I think of it, even a Disdainful Stroke in the sideboard might not be bad, as it counters Stoke the Flames , Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker etc.

I think you should cut two Jace's Ingenuity , move the two Thoughtseize to the mainboard and put a Disdainful Stroke and another Negate into the sideboard.

I think losing the draw spells is fine. I do have 8 of them xD
