Temporal Mastery
bc combos w
Mystical Tutor.
Time Stretch because it costs cmc

Jhoira of the Ghitu loves that kind of thing.
Bribery is also annoying, but with all those copy spells, it's an auto include. No Eldrazi,
Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and
It That Betrays are both in my binder, but waaaay too annoying. Also, cards like
Take Posession
are excellent removal aswell as being fun for me to play with other peoples mechanics, but, again, annoying for the person whom i swipe it from, thus not in here.
Omniscience is an auto-include but...
Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, too annoying (plus not flying). Guess I should write up a side-board of all those things. they used to be in there, but... too annoying.
Get creatures with flying and other great mechanics into play and exploit. Copy all the spells, especially card draw to keeping that ramp ramping and the options broad. If someone steals your stuff, return it to your hand. If someone threatens to destroy your stuff, return it to your hand. If someone attacks you with significant enough of an army, return the whole lot to their hand. If someone counters your spell, copy their counterspell and counter their counterspell with the copy the counterspell.
Jhoira of the Ghitu attracts quite a bit of hate. So, contingency plan is mana ramp. Aside from Thran Dynamo and Gilded Lotus which are auto-includes, the rest of the mana rocks are or drops to give me something to play before I play Jhoira.
Card advantage is a major component of this deck, that's why its a little low on land. Card advantage allows for the mana ramp to come out which inturn allows for spells to be payed, and since alot of cards are being drawn, there should be many options available. Try to get a card draw spell on suspend early along with whatever else you like, doesnt have to be high mana cost. If your lucky, you might get a copy spell before the suspended cards are cast. When the suspended cards resolve, that's the beginning of the end.
Dragonstorm is a major win condition. With the "storm" mechanic, Dragonstorm + anything elso on suspend will get 2 dragons into play and for each instant played at the beginning of the upkeep, before Dragonstorm goes off, is another dragon. Or, rely on the ramp to to hard cast it later on. Mystical Tutor will get in ontop of the library, Merchant Scroll will get Mystical Tutor into hand. Use Dragonstorm to pull out dragons that combo such as:
*note: copying Dragonstorm does not copy the "storm" mechanic, it only get's you one more dragon, but playing a spell and copying it before dragonstorm, counts for 3 spells thus 3 storm triggers.
Fury Charm is the only card in here to remove suspend counters, although I've tested pretty much all of them. It's the only one that's useful for anything beside removing the counters, ie: blowing up artifacts. I would love to poke
Paradox Haze
in there which would get the suspended cards in twice as fast, along with Followed Footsteps and
Mind Unbound
but i just can't decide what to take out for them.
There's an infinite combo in here: Dualcaster Mage + Cackling Counterpart//
Stolen Identity
//Rite of Replication. This infinity combo does have ways around it, so it can still be fun. eg Mirror Match, Echoing Truth, Sleep, Chain Reaction, Wrath of God, Damnation, etc etc. These are the tutors to make it happen.
Another fun combo is
Keiga, the Tide Star
+ Kicked Rite of Replication. Legendary means they all die, the tokens "bounce" off the graveyard triggering 6 times, means you get to steal 6 creatures. (People don't seem to mind having their creatures stolen as much if your sacrificing 5/5 Dragons to do it).
Conundrum Sphinx
has some nice interactions, especially
Future Sight
, Scroll Rack, Sensei's Divining Top and Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Also
Foresee
, Mystical Tutor and Halimar Depths.
Weaknesses: The weaknesses of this deck are quite specific. Although mono blue can be a bit of a bugger, when is that not the case with a creature dependent deck?
Knowledge Exploitation
- pulls out Time Stretch. Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir - shuts suspend down and shuts down AEtherspouts etc.
Thada adel
- sucks out all my ramp (and ruins my sleeves with all that shuffling), also pulls out Steel Hellkite which is never good to have staring you down. That's all i can think of atm.
