I would run this deck more often but I find it hard to get people to face it more than once. Not many people like being at the other end of the table against "The Hive."

@Dwall - I definitely get what you mean, although Slivers are more of a "fair" deck than say turn 2 or 3 combo decks that just wins by having the right cards available. Slivers are fun to pilot, but yeah... not very fun to play against.

Have you ever ran a Reanimate deck? I kinda want to build one. The idea of a turn 2 Griselbrand seems hilarious.

Lotus petal is basically just card disadvantage. Its great for combo decks but horrible for aggro that wants to keep dropping threats.

Shifting Sliver might be a good sideboard in case you are facing a non-sliver deck

I'd reccomend 2-2 or 3-1 on gemhide/manaweft in order to add resilliance to cabal therapy.

Just a suggestion for your mana base. Why not use Reflecting Pool? The only downside I see is if you get a one mana hand where Reflecting Pool is your only mana. I'd imagine most of the time you are trying to go on two mana hands so this is not an issue. You can take out a couple pain lands, or gemstone mines to slot it in

@CrystalMath - Not a bad idea. -2x Mana Confluence, +2x Reflecting Pool. I was running Reflecting Pool at some point in the past but it just got cut eventually. Haven't looked at this deck in a while.

Wow, I really love this deck! I have a Sliver deck but it is NOTHING like yours! Maybe I have to tweak it... a lot n_n' The only thing I saw, is that Manaweft Sliver doesnt appear on the deck list above, maybe it slipped away? =)

@sonateroarctico - Manaweft Sliver/Gemhide Sliver are great cards, just not for what this deck is trying to do. This is a full-on-aggro Slivers deck that wants to win by turn 3 as often as possible. Manaweft and Gemhide excel in trying to empty a hand quickly or ramp into larger slivers like Sliver Legion, Sliver Hivelord, etc. At one point, that's what this deck did, but I find that this low CMC aggro strategy works much more consistently and is frankly just more fun to play for me. I actually haven't updated this deck in a while and it looks like the deck description is a little out-dated.

Why are the best decks so expensive TT

@gregtokenftw - I updated the deck a while back but never updated the description. The deck you see is a full aggro version, whereas the description describes one with mana ramp and 5c slivers. I'll fix the description one day. I've had a lot more success with the aggro version listed above over the old version listed in the description.

You should consider replacing Tormod's Crypt with Relic of Progenitus. It's much more effective.

I run a variant of this, a pet deck I call: The Zenith Of Sliver Evolution! It features Green Sun's Zenith. It has a lot of flexibility and loses little in terms of speed. It can still swing for lethal on turn 3 or 4. Like this deck, it maintains its explosiveness throughout the game, except that it has the scary, scary Sliver Legion. In fact, I play it in multiplayer, where games tend to last, and rarely fail to win. I also played a mirror matchup before... CHAOS. We had 21/21 Slivers, and when I played a Sliver Legion... then, after Sideboarding in Sliver Overlord(a one-of), GSZ proved to be superior and I controlled and sacked all his Legends, and then stole his Bonescythe Sliver and won. Severe overkill (250++)
