Hi, I just realised how badly I was shooting my mouth off... I suppose my mind is too firmly stuck in modern and standard. I also realised that GSZ only searches for Green Creatures. I'm an idiot. I ran 4 Collected Company instead and replaced Manaweft and the 5 colour lords. With the new 4 slots available, I am playtesting the inclusion of Quick Sliver. However I find him rarely useful and only really works in Magical Christmas Land with Aether Vial and Manaweft, so I cut him. Instead, I'm looking at the Deathtouch sliver Venom Sliver as my meta is very packed with creature-heavy decks such as Black Eldrazi.

Hey Saljen, mind if I link this for my list of tribal decks?

@SuneEnough - 2x Mana Confluence would be an okay replacement, though Gemstone Mine is good for what it does. It's fast and doesn't hurt you, and you rarely run out of charges.

@Saljen Is there a way to make this deck without Cavern Of Souls and Aether Vial? I need this to be under $50.

KingLouis_CLXXII I'd take out the caverns for City of Brass, the vial may be Collected Company
But if 50$ is your budget I'm afraid you'll have to do several cuts

@KingLouis_CLXXII - Cheap Fast Slivers - That's about the best I could do to bring the price down. It changes the deck up quite a lot. If you can fit a couple Collected Company in, it would add a little burst to the deck. It does slow it down a fair bit, as it now relies on mana slivers.

I love slivers so you can have a +1 right away. Some day I might be trying to make a deck like this one except for modern, as I find slivers a fun tribe to play with and that's why I already have a pauper g/w slivers deck featuring all of the lords like this one and a Sliver Overlord Edh deck but it's not done as I still need to finish the mana base, buy a Sliver Queen and Sliver Legion.
I'm rather curious though do you think there might ever be any slivers either reprinted (although with the new slivers reading "slivers you control" vs the old that said "all slivers" does complicate this I think) or even new slivers in perhaps a future standard set or something?

I love this deck. If Pox wasn't a thing I'd be a sliver player. Haha. +1

It's CMC is 3, but Shadow Sliver would greatly help getting past a creature defense.

Thoughts on Diffusion Sliver and Mutavault? I play modern slivers, so different deck and different format, but I like them there. Diffusion helps avoid targeted removal without having to pay 2 for hibernation, and I like mutavault as an uncounterable threat that can be a 5/5 haste flier on average that dodges sorcery removal. Also, are you running the painlands and the mines instead of 2 more ziggarauts because of aether vial? In testing I've never had mana issue with ti, and the life/dying land is relevant in some matchups. Wanted to know your thoughts. Like the deck.

@Red_X - Crystalline Sliver is a very much upgraded version of Diffusion Sliver, so it won't see play in this deck. However it does have a place in Modern if you play Slivers there. The only reason I don't use Mutavault is due to the speed of this deck. I won't have time to activate it and it just screws with my color production.

Once you get some protection on the board, Thran Quarry isn't bad.

How Bout Lead the Stampede? This will help once you have deumped your hand.

@WerewolvesLover - Board wipes is not something you have to deal with regularly in Legacy, with the exception of Miracles. I do run 2x Hibernation Sliver in the side for that matchup though.
