A simple deck based around using Prowess along with low cmc cards to buff your cards.

While your best hand would be a 50/50 mixture of lands and cards with a Monastery Swiftspear first turn to begin doing damage, you'll generally just want to beat down your opponent.

The sideboard has bigger creatures if you can't get to them with buffs alone.

Currently on the Maybeboard:- Djinn Illuminatus for stretching out spells, mostly, so that you can incite both blue and red creatures in Surge of Zeal

This deck isn't super cheap, but only a handful of the cards actually cost more then 2.00, and

Haste + +2/+2

Incite + Surge of Zeal allows red creatures you control to be ready to attack while creatures you control get +2/+2, can make Sanguinary Mage a 3/5 for about four Mana.

Prowess Shenanigans

Prowess is wonderful as every spell that isn't a creature spell can cause it to trigger. Brute Force combined with Prowess will give a +4/+4 overall to one creature and then others you control will gain +1/+1! Another thing I like is that even when a spell you cast is countered, prowess is not connected to said, so you will still get a +1/+1 boost!
