So... Archetype of Endurance?

Yes Endurance does give Hexproof and take it away from any opponents; but it is way beyond the ideal mana curve. To run it and have it hit the field fast enough to protect the key ooze creatures; I would have to switch to a land ramp strategy on my spells instead of flooding out tokens or copying super-sized creatures.

What's the most you Gelatanous Genesis for?

I have hit Genesis for G-9-1 giving me nine 1/1 tokens using the pay 2 ability on Nykthos to use my devotion to ramp mana.

First off, when you pay the cost of Genesis, X must be one cost, not two. You can not make nine 1/1's with gelatanous genesis. You can make 9 9/9 tokens or 1 1/1. And that's 11 Mana. You want this to kill by turn 5 and by the time you hit enough to gelatanous genesis that hard, you will NOT kill any modern deck at all.

Ah well, that is a mistake on my part then. Still not my primary win strategy, I tend to look towards Alpha Authority + Forced Adaptation + Predator Ooze . Then wait a few turns and cast Miming Slime to make a token with the same strength as the Predator.

Yes, I'm looking forward to getting it. Trying to think which to cut to make room.

i feel you should be splashing black for Corpsejack Menace and the removal suite it offers. and with 4x nykthos ramping from devotion shouldnt be an issue to hit Archetype of Endurance turn 4.

Given that this is modern, you should really run Prey Upon instead of Hunt the Weak. It's just better. Also, if you can afford it, Doubling Season would be obscene.

I playtested your deck a few times and while the concept of unstoppable growing oozes is really fun, it feels a bit slow to start out and there aren't quite enough creature cards. I would get hands full of enchantments and sorceries that are useless without a creature to put them on. I would consider adding 4 more creatures and reducing the overall mana cost of the cards a bit.

A+ for flavour

So, I decided to take SkylarkJ's comment into consideration and found it to be true. So, I've taken the Alpha Authority out as they really haven't been too helpful. I've added in four more creatures to help put a few more threats on field.

Ranger's Guile, Vines of Vastwood, Pit Fight? For pump and fight stuffs.

The deck is, in general, too slow to function really effectively as a modern deck; however, as a casual and flavorful deck, it seems fine. Consider running Blessings of Nature over Increasing Savagery to speed it up, as well as Obelisk of Urd or Coat of Arms for the anthem effect. I mean, what have you got to looze?

+1 for sheer flavor alone! More upvotes if I could. Loving the green ooze flow. Have you tried Cavern of Souls naming oozes to make them uncounterable?
