Contemplated build for a multiplayer stax list for competitive. This will be conversion of my current Roon deck. Roon has been too slow and I want something more cutthroat and disruptive (particularly to handle Kaalia and Maelstrom Wanderer decks that are powerful in my playgroup).

Wargate and Rite can potentially interchange. I'm not sure which of the pair is the best one to have. Brimaz could go in over Hero of Bladehold, but I think Hero adds more as a 4-drop (for Pod+Derevi) and Battle cry.

I'm testing -1 Plains, +1 Avacyn's Pilgrim to see how it goes with an extra shot at Turn 2 Derevi and also an extra nonland mana source.

I'm not sure if I'll keep Deadeye Navigator. Deadeye doesn't have a huge number of targets in this deck and I'm not sure the infinite combo with Lotus is that great with no way to draw the deck and win. I might stick with Lotus but replace Deadeye with something else in the maybeboard.

Edit: Swapped StP for Unexpectedly Absent and Tamiyo for Rite.

23-7-15: Archangel of Tithes and Willbreaker going in over Sower of Temptation and Hero of Bladehold. Might swap Hero back for either Heliod or Brago.

01-08-15: Replacing Solemn Simulacrum with Aven Mindcensor, but may swap that out for Hero of Bladehold. Without tutors and such, Umezawa's Jitte may go too once I've thought about what would be better in its place. I'm also trying Chromatic Lantern instead of Commander's Sphere to help with some of the mana-fixing.

5-10-15: Added fetches, put BFZ Kiora in over Jitte, which I've left in the maybeboard because I think there may be better switches.

11-10-15: Trying CSphinx over Venser Planeswalker - I'm never that keen to have him and I have Kiora for Stasis comboing.

9-11-15: Trying Arbiter of the Ideal over Arcanis, which also flex-slots with CSphinx.

12-11-15: Considering Yisan, Gaea's Cradle, and Druid's Repository.

20-3-16: Following the Prophet ban I went with Murkfiend Liege. However I'm now trying Omniscience as a Rector target instead. I'm also thinking about dropping a Propaganda or Ghostly Prison for a sweeper like Verdict or Wrath but I need to see how it plays in practice first.

4-4-16: Swapping Clever Impersonator out for Sakashima after realising the interaction with Derevi and Stasis etc. I may put Impersonator in over something else in future.

29-5-16: Considering Broodspore Thrinax over Mirror Entity. Mana Crypt over Farseek.

3-6-16: Now that Winter Orb has its old functionality, I want to try a tapper/untapper. Currently trying Fatestitcher over Ghostly Prison, as it Pods from Derevi and can hit lands, but might try Aphetto Alchemist instead.

10-7-16: Trying Tamiyo, Field Researcher over Propaganda; adding Lunar Force to the maybeboard.

20-7-16: Added Sphere of Resistance, Aphetto Alchemist, Null Rod, Lunar Force and Fertile Ground over the Signets, Ashnods Altar and Blasting Station. Thinking about Chrome Mox or Wild Growth over Fertile Ground, and Tezzeret or Fabricate over Lunar Force.
