Sideboard

Dega Mid-Range because why not. If Jund is good then Dega should be too.

The Deck

Sorceries

Anger of the Gods - This destroys the fast-paced aggro decks and while it does get rid of your early-game plays as well it's one of the better board clearing spells in Standard

Dreadbore - Is there a pesky planeswalker bothering you? This kills them deader than dead. Also hits annoying creatures like

Mizzium Mortars - Hits the majority of creatures that get played. Kills Blood Baron, Archangel, and Stormbreath all at the same time if you need it to.

Thoughtseize - Who doesn't like gettting rid of their opponents next big play. Good at any time of the game ... unless you have two life.

Instants

Magma Jet - Two damage for two mana isn't amazing but the Scry 2 thats throw on the end is very nice.

Hero's Downfall - It's like Dreadbore but at instant speed and costs a little more.

Enchantments

Whip of Erebos - This combos very nicely with Obzedat and Archangel.

Underworld Connections - Drawing cards is fun. Why don't we draw some extra ones as well as the one we get at the start of the turn.

Creatures

Archangel of Thune - Life-gain is usually bad. But Lifelink is cool and getting a bonus for it is great.

Blood Baron of Vizkopa - Combos very well with Archangel and is immune to 2/3 of the removal in Standard.

Desecration Demon - Extremely efficient creature for four mana so why not run it.

Fiendslayer Paladin - Again this guy is resistant to removal and is great in combat. Also the life-gain is a great bonus.

Obzedat, Ghost Council - A 5/5 for five is great, especially when it gains you some life and is impossible to remove on your opponent's turn if you want.

Soldier of the Pantheon - 2/1's for one are cool. The life-gain might be irrelevant depending on the match-up but having this guy available is good.

Stormbreath Dragon - This guy is just amazing. He punishes control decks that need card draw, he swings in for four or more every turn and he's immune to Detention Sphere

Mogis, God of Slaughter - Just an all around good god. Choices are very hard and he's a huge beater when your devotion is enough.

Planeswalkers

Elspeth, Sun's Champion - One of the best Elspeths ever printed as it's extreme good value for six mana, it gives you plenty of tokens, it wipes the board of larger scarier creatures and it buffs your creatures.
