@goblinbushwacker Eldrazi decks can't process their own cards, which are what you'll be exiling with the macabre. The deadshot interaction is unfortunate, but the two extra damage usually isn't super huge, and you're most likely just going to cast it unless you're using the exile ability. Jund charm I guess could work in place of it but the mana is kind of awkward even with the amount of multiple mana lands.

Hmm, I can see the merits with either argument. I at least have em in the SB but I think in my groups meta they could be useful MB.

Sorry for off topic comment but @GoblinBushwacker your use of "witch" over "which" is bothersome and as previously stated exiling your opponents things does nothing for processing

tyforthevenom your pointless correction of my grammar is bothersome, and you are right, I misspoke, I still keep my stance that the faerie is not a good main board card

As far as macabre goes... I'm indifferent. It hurts the use of Delve but it feels counterproductive alongside Deadshot as a mainboard card. As mentioned it's borderline irrelevant against Eldrazi.

If you like it, try it, if not, maybe sideboard material?

Speaking of... Hallowed, your maybeboard looks like all good side material apart from Kataki and Stony Silence. 2 CMC is a no-no here. Everything else is worth trying. And I'm glad you're considering the good old fashioned Yamishi-style white splash.

I'm actually a big fan of the Slaughter Games side. It's a good card in general. We've seen a bunch of iterations and Memoricide variants, but Games stands out as the best version imo.

I also just decided to try to make a fun multi combo variant of Living End with exarch and kiki. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/deceiver-kiki-living-end-combo/ A god hand kills turn 3 which seems pretty good.

I've started calling Street Wraith "Street Rat" because reference jokes.

I loved that movie as a kid. Genie is still one of my favorite Disney/non-anime characters. RIP Robin Williams.

I agree. RIP RW. Love watching his stand up comedy as well.

Hey man. Good to see you still play LE. You know anything about infect btw? I'm adapting to no probes.

January 16, 2017 11:46 p.m.

; )I don't have a lot of knowledge on competitive infect : /

January 20, 2017 6:31 p.m.

Good deck, but it is a bit too pricey to call a budget deck.

January 31, 2017 1:02 p.m.

Not really. Its $240 on tcg player. That's dirt cheap for competitive modern ; p

My decks average $600-1k even if I use the cheap reprints. Hallowed knows I don't do cheap. The good thing about Modern decks is they tend to stick around quite a while. The format is fairly stable and many good decks stay good for years. And valuable cards are oftentimes multipurpose, as you can use them in new projects if what you build doesn't pan out.

February 1, 2017 10:13 a.m.

True, but many decks can be purchased for under $200 and be very competitive and difficult to beat.

The deck looks good, my two suggestions: Perhaps add one or two Blooming Marsh, depending on how you feel about fast lands. I like them. My other suggestion might be Anger of the Gods in the sideboard, for the incoming Renegade Rallier decks.

Sound suggestions. Thanks Kiortio

Have you thought about Greater Sandwurm instead of Jungle Weaver/Pale Recluse? Also, Desert Cerodon would be fantastic replacement for Twisted Abomination and some other cycling creatures. Hope this helps!

Thanks Snap157! I haven't been keeping up with the newest stuff but I'm liking the idea of trying some of these.
