The Bulls *117th at SCG Cle*

Standard Aggro BR (Rakdos) RBW (Mardu) Tribal

PheonyxXx

Sideboard

Creature (1)

Enchantment (3)

After constantly testing Reaniwhip the previous week, the deck collapsed and failed at FNM. So I went ahead and made a dramatic switch hours before the SCG Open in Cleveland. B/R Minotaurs.

Match 1 - Lost 1-2 vs Naya Midrange

Match 2 - Lost 1-2 vs Mono Red

Match 3 - Lost 1-2 vs Mono White

Match 4 - No Show (Free Win)

Match 5 - Won 2-1 vs Esper Control

Match 6 - Won 2-0 vs U/W Control

Match 7 - Won 2-1 vs Mono Red

Match 8 - Won 2-0 vs Mono Red

Match 9 - Lost 0-2 vs Esper Control

I was off to an extremely slow start due to a last minute deck change and still learning how to sideboard/combat the metagame. After the 1-3 start, I got a strong grasp for the deck and was 1 game away from finishing top 64 with a fairly unique and different deck for a competitive atmosphere.

After all 9 Rounds, I feel this deck is legit and has potential at being a competitive deck. I found that I never felt the need to sideboard in Mizzium Mortars, So I feel I'll be removing those for 3x Dreadbore. The lone Canyon Minotaur, really has no rhyme or reason being in there. Its just my favorite card of all time and I finally had a deck I could put him in without him being out of place.
