This is my 2nd try at a Jeskai Voltron deck. My first was a creatureless Narset deck focused around artifacts, but it ended up not being quite as good as I had hoped it would be. This was mainly due to the fact that it was too threatening, and I got hated out of almost every game I played with it.

This time, I'm approaching it from a slightly different angle. Because of Shu Yun, this deck doesn't need to focus on lots of Equipments or Auras; although I am going to put a decent amount in here. Rather, I can focus on burning the crap out of my opponents with spells and finish them off with a big unblockable swing from Shu Yun.

Combos:

Barrage of Boulders + Soulfire Grand Master : Deals damage to all creatures I don't control. Really nice if my opponent is playing a token generation deck and has an assload of them built up. Not to mention I can use Soulfire Grand Master's ability to put Barrage of Boulders right back in my hand.

Howl of the Horde + Vedalken Orrery : Pair this with any burn spell after declaring an attacker, and I get 2 copies of said spell. Depending on my mana levels at the time, could be nice for killing some or all of my opponents. To be honest, this is a very good combination with any spell, burn or control.

Fling + Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest : Fling doesn't count as a Prowess proc for Shu Yun if I sacrifice him as a cost to it, but it's still very nice if someone thinks they're going to save their life with a Fog and then you Fling a big ass Shu Yun at their face. Good times for all (except your enemy).
