So this is my new enchantment based deck. The plan is to go all in with enchantments on
Hero of Iroas
and Fabled Hero.
Card breakdown:
Fabled Hero and
Hero of Iroas
. They both do pretty much the same thing. get huge fast and deals tons of damage. The main creature threats in the deck
Brimaz, King of Oreskos just an awesome card. Gives you more attackers/blockers and tiggers Ephara, God of the Polis
Ajani's Chosen With around 20 enchantments in the deck you'll be sure to trigger multiple times in a game. But he really shines if you cast a Ephara's Enlightenment. Then you'll get a 2/2 cat and you get Ephara's Enlightenment on your hand and you can redo it for as long as you got mana for it. alot of cats and alot of +1/+1 counter.
Hopeful Eidolon a solid one drop which is nice to bestow aswell. You can even turn 1 him, turn 2 ethereal armor and you have a 3/3 first strike. life link creature.
Detention Sphere you need something to take out plainswalkers or fat creatures
Gods Willing a good card against removal and it triggers
Hero of Iroas
and Fabled Hero which is the reason why i use this instead of Brave the Elements
Spear of Heliod +1/+1 is allways good. and you have a kind of removal on board which can be usefull
Ephara, God of the Polis Mainly here for some extra card draws. But can be useful as a creature if she is allowed the devotion.
last but not least.
Stratus Walk
i took this card because i can have problems with flying creatures. and it replaces itself.
So this is basically the deck. I want to see if i can make the deck a competitive deck. I still think i could replace Ephara, God of the Polis with a better card draw engine. Just don't know what it should be. I still don't know what the sideboard should look like and would really like some inputs on it. Please don't hold back on telling what you think:D
Btw i got the idea for this deck from a budget deck that was featured on Wizards homepage. i just tweaked it abit and put in some more cats :P Here is a link for the deck http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/rc/288
