Hey guys, Atony1400 here with some of the best news ever! As some of you may have noticed, the page is getting close to the one year mark, and all of us on the committee have noticed that the page deserves a real update. And so with that, I announce the biggest update to the page, ever!

I think the biggest thing to mention is that dividing decks by format was not enough to showcase them, so we decided the best option was to divide the page into 4 seperate pages, one for each of the biggest formats:

  1. Standard
  2. Modern
  3. Commander/EDH
  4. Pauper

With the addition of these pages, navigating to the decks you are most interested in will be much easier! Also, and probably the most exciting part, the designs for each of the pages will be done by 2 committee members! More details on that to come!

To accompany these new pages, there will be major changes done to this page, most noticeabley is that the decks will no longer be here, but in their corresponding pages!

The committee will also see substantial changes. Voting for a deck will noW be determined by the the two members running the format page. This allows for more rigorous testing of the decks, and will eventually eliminate the long wait times people are currently experiencing.

"Now why would you ever view this page if there are no decks?" you may ask? Well, we thought of that too! We are introducing a new feature called "Featured Deck", in which one deck will be randomly selected from all the decks we have, and will have a small piece write about it! It's our way to give back to our members! So far, we think it's best to choose a deck every 3 weeks.

The last piece I'd like to add is that the one year mark is getting close, and we are planning to host some sort of celebration. Details still need to be determined!

The planned completion of these updates is for October 31st, 2016! As always, if you have questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to contact me!

I'd also like to give a special shout out to deltacobra and jimakos96 for sticking by me throughout the drafting of these updates! None of this would not be possible without their continued support!

And thanks to everybody who has supported us, and allowed us to still be functioning even 1 year later! You guys truly are the reason we still do what we do: showcasing cheap decks that best represent the term "budget!"

Progress Report for October 2016 Updates

Hey everyone! As we are now less than 2 weeks from release of the new pages and updates to follow, I'd like to give a little update regarding the changes you will be experiencing.

First place I'd like to start is deck submissions. As you know, we are moving decks around getting the pages ready, therefore we do not have time to look at new suggestions that have been recently submitted. We will resume the deck reviewing process November 1st.

Also, the challenge of creating 4 BRAND NEW pages proved to be a bit too much for us to handle on our own, so we needed some helping hands. Thus, I'd like to welcome The_Dragonmaster to THe Cheap Deck Club Committee!

Finally and most importantly, I am closing this page from October 20th to October 30th so we can finalize all the updates between the 5 pages. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Special thanks to Squirrel_of_War, CheeseBro, deltacobra, The_Dragonmaster, robo12385, jimakos96, Panzerforge, Tyrannosary, The_Redpill, and TheHroth for their help so far, and to all of you who support us and comment, it truly means a lot to us!

@Atony1400 I build primarily budget friendly decks. They might not always fit the price of $50-$100 but I do try to keep it cheap.

Here is my Izzet Burn Control deck. I simply made this to try and keep up with some of the faster decks in standard now. Also, the prices on this website are off by a LOT if you check TCG mid. You can do a nonfoil of this buying at TCG's low for around 50.

Hey. I am a budget player and i am building cheap decks most for Pauper and Modern. I dont have money to build the best decks in the formats, but i enjoy playing cheap decks with friends and at the local store. Also i like winning when im using a cheap deck against a more expensive deck ;) These are the decks i made and play with: Infect, Weenie the paup. And my most recent deck that i made which i do really like: Porcelain Kuldotha

Hope you enjoy it and will spread the word for cheap decks!

@MTGsoccer13,

Noted! If you modify the deck, be sure to let us know! I believe we moved it to Shelf cause it rotated out.
