The Chord Guy : turbo elfball creature combo

The goal of the commander is to help assemble one of the three main combos as fast as possible and kill on the spot. Thank to the high density of combo pieces(15, not counting mana creatures), the speed given by the 30 mana creatures and the consistensy offered by the 19 tutors (with one more in command zone), the deck usualy assemble one of the combos on turn 4.

Main Combos

1) Devoted Druid + Vizier of Remedies / Luxior, Giada's Gift / Swift Reconfiguration + Mana Sink

2) Big Mana Creature + Umbral Mantle or Mirror Entity +Wirewood Symbiote or Ashaya, Soul of the Wild + Quirion Ranger + Mana Sink

3) Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Spike Feeder / Walking Ballista

The first combo aim to make infinite green mana with Devoted Druid and one other piece then usualy sink it into a Walking Ballista or a Nylea, Keen-Eyed. This is the fastest and most accesible combo of the deck.

The second one also make infinite mana with Big Mana Creatures and allow one or several creatures to get infinite power and toughness. It use creatures that are already making mana to accelerate the deck and transform them into combo pieces. With infinite mana the deck can use a Mana Sink or a Tutor to win more easily.

The last one just make infinite life, which is usually enough to make the opponent concede. It has the particularity to be a two piece combo that can be fetch together with card like Tooth and Nail and Shared Summons or by casting Rocco at X=3 with Panharmonicon or Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines on the board. The Heliod/Ballista combo is however rarely seen.

The deck can also win with a large board and an early Craterhoof Behemoth or Mirror Entity. It almost never win through fair game plan, due to the total lack of interaction and the high number of combo and combo pieces.
