Golgari Germination, Pawn of Ulamog, From Beyond, Savra, Queen of the Golgari, Evolutionary Leap, High Market, Deathreap Ritual, Grim Haruspex, Jund Panorama all seem like solid cards for your deck, and are all quite cheap.

I recommend dragon throne of tarkir, or another card that gives trample to all creatures.

I was actually thinking about Nylea, God of the Hunt or Pathbreaker Ibex

Would it be ok if I made a modified version of this deck and gave you credit? I have quite a few ideas, but I would like you to give me the thumbs up.

Pretty cool deck. Creaturewise there are so many cool ones that could fit here perfectly. The first ones I thought about was the alerady mentioned Savra, Queen of the Golgari and also the new card from Eldrich Moon - Voldaren Pariah Flip which serves a sac-outlet for you and a removal for your opponent. Obviously the two together (or any other Edict-engine) is bananas.
Sac three guys- gain some benefits, opponents sacs 6 guys + bonus punishments of various sorts

I've considered adding Voldaren Pariah Flip in my Meren deck (recently reconstructed: Beggars and Kings: Meren EDH) but my worry is that it only punishes one opponent. In multiplayer, Gatekeeper of Malakir almost gets better value...but she also gives you a sac outlet. Hmmm. Your thoughts would be appreciated on the deck I linked, if you have a moment :)

The downside to Voldaren Pariah Flip is that you must be able to sac three creatures in order to pay the cost. It's not like a instant speed Greater Good or Viscera Seer that you can do repeatedly. It's a one time thing. I would rather a basic instant speed sac outlet then her. And the upside isn't that great because it is target player.
Fleshbag Marauder and Merciless Executioner are much better than the gatekeeper in my opinion because since it's an ETB it can be triggered from graveyard recursion. Kickers can only be triggered on cast.
Smokestack is awesome, but that kind of artifact would eat a removal spell in a heartbeat. I may play it. The potential value is through the roof

Peanut3181: Oh definitely. Fleshbag Marauder and Merciless Executioner are infinitely better than Gatekeeper of Malakir for exactly that reason. I was just commenting on Voldaren Pariah Flip's downside (only hits one player) using Gatekeeper as an example.

Have you considered adding a little token theme? It would be very syngergystic with what your deck is doing already. I was thinking of cards like Pawn of Ulamog, Awakening Zone, Golgari Germination, Cryptolith Rite, Eldrazi Monument.

I have considered a token theme yea. What would you want to cut in place of them?

Squandered resources is a fun card in gitrog as well as Lotus cobra... Lots of ways to abuse the free mana and card draw with SR

also Azusa would make your landfall triggers go nuts if you also have the crucible in play

the absolutely only downside is that those cards are not budget. I know that I have hoof and Lord of extinction in there. But those cards will someday be in the deck. They have to be lol. So much value.

I like the idea of your deck and as I always wanted to building a The Gitrog Monster deck, I used your list as a starting point. Got everything together and hope I can play a couple of rounds next week to test it. One point I wondered is the Cabal Coffers as you have almost no Lands with subtype swamp in the list, except if Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is in play. Does it get you often mana or is it just a leftover from previous Revisions?

Good call! It’s actually a leftover and it’s in a completely different deck now

Merciless Executioner and Fleshbag Marauder both act as removal and pump for your creatures with Mazirek out and they are very budget.
