UWr Clue-engine based Hedron Alignment deck.
The strategy: Use Thraben Inspectors and Erdwal Illuminators in the early game to buffer clues and draw cards until you draw Nahiri or Tamiyo's Journal. You then need to use the Journal to get Nahiri, or use Nahiri to get the Journal.Once you have both on the field, use Clues to draw your 4 copies of
Hedron Alignment
and use Nahiri to get them in the graveyard and in exile as needed.
To ramp up the number of clues we get, use
Engulf the Shore
to bounce your Thraben Inspectors back (and your opponent's creatures, lategame) and replay them for extra clueage. This coupled with the upkeep clues from the Journal should be fine.
Exiling your Hedron: Use Nahiri or Angelic Purge. After rereading the Hexproof rules, you can still target it with your own spells, so Purge is fine.
Playing your Hedron: put it on the field. Handily, it has hexproof.
Graveyarding your Hedron: discard with Nahiri,
Oath of Jace
or by using Angelic Purge to sacrifice it. In case you are forced to discard one of your Hedrons into the graveyard when another one is in there, you can tutor up Auramancer with the Journal to get it back. I don't think more than 1 Auramancer is needed, as we want 1 in the graveyard anyway.
Drawing your Hedron: You can draw out the last copy of
Hedron Alignment
at instant speed with the Journal. Do this in your opponent's end step.
The rest of the deck is just an attempt at control whilst you try to pull off the Hedrons. Reflector Mage is just a value tempo creature.
Confirm Suspicions
is a nice clue-generating counter but not sure if it's effective for the cost. Angelic Purge and
Declaration in Stone
control the field, then with a 1x Sphinx of the Final Word and 1x
Crush of Tentacles
in case everything has gone utterly wrong and you need an alternate wincon of wiping the field and attacking in combination with the elemental-lands for lethal.
C&C quite welcome -- and sideboard ideas, too :)
