i love your "Sideboard Added Dec. 16, 2011 " idea. i made the same suggestion to irgsaber. Cause they SB to adapt and poof. still no clue. +1 for simple brutality.

This deck is insane. I disliked turbo decks with a fiery passion until I realized that even my deck is a Turbo Creature deck of sorts... But this deck and one of my friends helped open my eyes to that. So I would like to say thank you for my revelation that Turbo decks are only stupid to those that lose to them.

A turbo deck that relies on nothing but turbo strategy can be pretty weak, but shawning taught me, with his Splicing Insanity deck, that if you have another strategy to back it up, it can be pretty killer.

What precisely are you going to play Shape anew off of to yank a Blightsteel Colossus ?

Either the Golem produced by a Wing Splicer or an inkmoth nexus if I really need to.

i don't see an Inkmoth Nexus in your card list... am i blind?
December 18, 2011 9:20 p.m.
Well, I AM a genius, aren't I. Making that change now, as I have actually been playing the deck with 3 Inkmoth Nexus in the mainboard. Lol.

i know your pie chart says you have the land right. I always worry having so few of a basic land like 6 Swamp because in a 9 turn game with 4 draw cards, you've only got like a 20% chance of drawing a swamp. unless you're playing a Lashwrithe i'd more balance your basic lands maybe? i just know how my luck goes.
No i didn't actually do the calculations so i don't want to hear about how wrong i am, just making a point!

Actually its a fair point. But he has the mana fixed with Darkslick Shores and Drowned Catacomb . In your case if you run Lashwrithe then yeah Run swamp heavy and just flip the color pie completely and run more black in general. Personal I'd run Lashwrithe in a Mono-black with Vampire Outcasts at the front. In fact I'll build one and link it.

i didn't mean he should run Lashwrithe , i just meant for me, instead of 6/10 Swamp to Island , I'd personally run 8/8.

Oh... Makes more sense now. Sorry bout that. I playtested against this deck and its sick. Vamps have nothing on this.

djgunn makes solid decks, that's all there is to it.
December 19, 2011 7:29 p.m.
@crabopolis, I've noticed playing, that I really never have a problem getting the mana out that I need.
@Jokernaught, Minousmancer, thanks for the props!

I'm looking at bringing this to FNM this week, just to throw a wrench in everyone's gears. So, if you anyone has any ideas how to make this even more punishing and surprising at the same time, let me know!

@burkek, that is the way that deathtouch used to work, but it was kind of dumb, for example you would have to regenerate a creature twice, because it would die, and then at the end of combat it would die again. This is the new rule for deathtouch, as of M10
