The point of this deck is to stop damage until the harder hitting creatures can come out.

Here's the story behind it:

In my junior year of high school I started playing Magic the Gathering, but I didn't have any cards so I had to play with my friends' decks. I bought this 6000 lot of cards on eBay for $50, with the promise that it didn't contain more than 4 duplicates, no cards in other languages, and at least some rares. It took a month for the package to arrive and when it came it contained no rares, several cards in other languages, duplicates galore (I received 18 Brass Gnat, and about 1200 unglued cards (most of which were duplicates). Needless to say I was quite upset (as well as my friends because of the anticipation) and my dad wouldn't complain on eBay (he facilitated the purchase). Anyway, in order to play with my friends I built the most bullshit deck I could. It wasn't until recently (I've gotten back into Magic over the summer) that I found out that my friends and I didn't correctly understand protection (we didn't know that spells that did damage without specifically targeting aren't affected by protection) which dramatically changes this deck.

TLDR, this deck has gotten me through a lot of casual games, despite it lacking a lot of powerful cards, and I would love to improve on it. Thanks for the suggestions!
