Played this deck a lot and made a few changes to mine.Blightsteel Colossus
-1 Signal Pest
-3 Ornithopter
-1 Spellskite
=======================
+1 Blightsteel Colossus can cast with quicksilver when mana screwed
+2 Palladium Myr helps with Ramp when can't draw lands
+3 Myr Galvanizer Infinite mana, Not too usefull, might switch back for Ornithopter
+2 Plague Myr Can Help with ramp, most people won't think of him as a threat and leave themselves open, then with a Eldrazi Conscription that's game
+1 though, great build
Fun to play

A thought on the times people come up short on cards:
I use Dreamstone Hedron in my eldrazi deck. It helps with ramping and gets me 3 cards once I have too much mana. I could see it working out much better in your deck, using the Ruin to grab it again and (possibly) the Crucible to save the Ruin.

Currently, the main problem with this deck is Staff of Domination . I never have enough mana for it to be useful. Dreamstone Hedron seems like it might be very useful for both my mana ramp and hand size.
I have also been considering Walking Atlas for playing lands faster.
And card:Jester's Scepter for a little control.
Dreamstone Hedron is probably the best of the three.

I was very surprised to see a comment on this deck. I figured it would be long forgotten by now.

I was poking around for good Eldrazi builds and found yours. Couldn't think of a good name for my variation: Eldrazi. I ended up using less Hedrons than I originally thought. They pair wonderfully with the Urza's land combo, but fall short with the Temples and the Eye. At least you can tap them the turn you play it, making more of a 3 cost. Also because I am trying to use Skullclamp with some Myr instead of the Crucible-Buried Ruin -Dreamstone route.

I decided to incorporate your utilization of Myr Servitor and Myr Retriever into my deck. It adds more chump blockers while giving me more time to get out my big meanies.

I really dig the deck, man! I'm curious about your using Darksteel Colossus over Blightsteel Colossus , but both are nasty cards. I really appreciate seeing a deck that is focused around playing the Eldrazi cards. I've thought about doing it, and how I'd go about it... but you've already beaten me to the punch! And +1 on your using Myr Servitor and Myr Retriever . I'm only curious about only using one retriever, though you have enough other smaller creatures where there's plenty of fodder to throw into the way of creatures while you bust out one of the big nasties!

I chose Darksteel only because he cost 1 less than blightsteel. Once I start getting up past 8 mana, its starts to get difficult to get to 15.

Fair enough. Some would say "it's only 1 more mana" but... I've been in so many situations where 6 mana was fine, but 7 looked like so much!

This deck is awesome. And brutal to play against. One of the rare times where I had two Brave the Elements in my hand and they were complete dead draws.
Not sure what suggestions I can give, this deck already runs very well. You really are only casting 1 thing per turn, so maybe consider adding more Darksteel Myr s instead of the Ornithopter s? And add that extra slot into another Quicksilver Amulet ? The Darksteel Myr is phenomenal for slowing down opponents, especially aggro advances that rely on something like Champion of the Parish . He also stays with board wipes like Wrath of God . And another amulet, since it is a crux for getting some of this stuff out sooner, might not hurt (especially since they are going to start attracting artifact killspells when your opponent starts to see what you're bringing out with them).

Steel Hellkite should at least be sideboarded. It's a large, pumpable body and a living Ratchet Bomb that can level your opponent's field.

This deck is just ridiculous. +1.
Mind helping me out with Tezzeret's Clock - Multiplayer?

With card:Ashnod's Altar and the myr retriever you have yourself an infinite mana combo that can easily put your eldrazis on the field.
October 10, 2012 2:43 p.m.
how is that infinite? doesn't card:Ashnod's Altar provide 2 mana and Myr Retriever costs 2 mana
October 10, 2012 3:39 p.m.
Myr Retriever , when sac'd, will bring the other Myr Retriever directly to the battlefield from the graveyard. Then sac that one, bringing the other one back. 2 mana for each sac = infinite mana.

The retriever returns from the graveyard to your hand...
October 11, 2012 3:44 p.m.
so it is infinite morbid, right? just not infinite mana
October 11, 2012 4:54 p.m.
You're right. It's to hand, not to battlefield. My mistake.

I love this deck +1. The only problem when I play tested it was that I did nothing productive until turn 9. I also suggest taking out the Myr Servitor s for more Eldrazi.

This deck absolutely demolishes anything I throw at it: my decks as well as a couple pro tour decks. I am definitely going to run this at my local Modern.
