Lost in a forest full of gigantic and hungry monstrosities

The Deck
A deck with huge, mean and hungry beasties hiding in the forest waiting to rip the throats out of unsuspecting travelers. Using Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma as my General, I will utilize ramp spells to search for my lands to make it harder for my opponent to escape safely out of the forest.

Many creatures call this inhospitable terrain home, and they have grown vicious and eager for the hunt. Ancient and wondrous artifacts are strewn across this land as well as nightmares that should have been forgotten

Some have decided to live in the Jungle; be they brave, or foolish, they would rather choose the denizens of the Forest as their neighbors.

The General
I decided on Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma after seeing them on this sight and wanted to revamp my deck a little bit. And it was a match made in the woods. The deck is simple, ramp to get larger creatures out, and use the planeswalkers to help remove unwarned pests

The Creatures
Here is a small list of the beasties hiding in the jungle.

   Avenger of Zendikar - With the amount of ramp that I got in this deck, the Avenger can send his super plants into overdrive.
   Eternal Witness - Tech. I can bring back any card from my graveyard to my hand with her.
   Toski, Bearer of Secrets - can't be countered, can't be destroyed, and card draw? Sign me up! They're also a great candidate for Eldrazi Conscription
   Veteran Explorer - Brave Explorer, going out into the untamed wilds, and then you die. His ability means he won't be staying on the field for very long, everyone loves extra land.

   It That Betrays - I like Eldrazi, and I like this one a lot.

The Ramp
   Skyshroud Claim - Singlehandedly, my favorite ramp spell. Being able to find two forests and putting them into play untapped is amazing.
   Sol Ring - Staple in any EDH
   Extraplanar Lens - Doubles on lands of the same name.
   Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx - Good card since I run only one color, and the devotion can get mighty big.


The Creature Search
   Genesis Wave - Extremely good, allowing me to bring in all permanents into play that are at or below the cost of "X"
   Green Sun's Zenith - Searches for a green creature, and then goes back into my deck if played. Yes please.
   Pattern of Rebirth - Whose never wanted to sacrifice Sakura-Tribe Elder for it's ability, and then search for another creature.. like It That Betrays?
