@Rakkhive
The problem with Blightsteel Colossus
is that it has infect. I do not use Infect creatures in any of my decks because I think its kind of a cheap way to win. That being said, if he did not have infect, perhaps wither, I would buy the crap outta that fella.
@Outriderblue
Primalcrux
is a bit on the expensive side of things for me right now. I bought the cards for the deck when I had an abundance of funds to afford all that money cards but now... it's gettin' to be lean times right now for me, but he is pretty nice.

It's all good mbentley6, one of my friends really wanted to use Primalcrux for a deck, but couldn't cause of the price tag.
It's kinda like a bastardized Primalcrux, but have you considered Reverent Hunter ?

Reverent Hunter Is good, but the funny thing is that I don't really have all that many permanents in play for devotion. A lot of the time it's just my artifacts and a big fat fatty or two in play so the Hunter doesn't get to shine like he deserves.
In a lower cmc deck, He would kick so much ass. With cards like Ambush Viper , Strangleroot Geist , and if you can afford the Primalcrux , it would make Reverent Hunter a beast

Hello, Great deck! I built a deck using the same concept, I was hoping you could offer some advice please?

Basilisk Collar is a definitely need in the build, considering the lack of creature removal you run besides your general.
Dramatic Entrance - Cut it. You should be doing so much more with your card slots in the deck. Run Karn Liberated instead. You deck could use the extra removal.
Harrow - Never been fond of this spell. It doesn't ramp you that much and you could just be playing a sheer card advantage spell over it.
Other things you should be running:
(depending on budget)
Spells
Soul's Majesty - You need card draw
Memory Jar - same reason as above
All Is Dust - amazing mass removal that green doesn't typically have.
Steel Hellkite - removal on a stick (and mana dump)
Lands
Ancient Tomb - freaking amazing land, ESPECIALLY in edh
Maze of Ith - EDH staple, very very useful and needed
Boseiju, Who Shelters All - so worth it, even if you sometimes aren't playing against a blue deck
Buried Ruin - simple, effective. You will like it.
Cavern of Souls (OPTIONAL) - very good card. usually just name your general's subtype
Gaea's Cradle - amazing (but depends on budget)
Hall of the Bandit Lord - this wins so many games in edh. Board wipe, recast general / creature in hand, and win.
Mikokoro, Center of the Sea - you lack card draw, and this is still a great card, especially in multiplayer (people like you more, haha)
Mosswort Bridge - obvious reasons
Rishadan Port - to stop THEIR Maze of Ith, or to tap them out of a certain color, or to tap down that nasty Cabal Coffers
Rogue's Passage - quite the neccessity in your deck.
Tranquil Thicket - more. card. draw.
Treetop Village - just to have a backup creature. worth activating, attaching Strata Scythe and swinging for the win.

Awesome deck! +1. I'd recommend more stuff like Bane of Progress or Acidic Slime. Destroying artifacts and enchantments in this format is key imo.

If getting value from Gaea's Cradle is what you're after, maybe Avenger of Zendikar might help?

Well, this being mono-green why don't you go with Seedborn Muse and Omnath, Locus of Mana? Genesis is a staple on mono-green EDH too.
+1

Those cards don't really interest me is all. I find Genesis' ability lack-luster in this build, mostly because I oftentimes sac Kozilek, Butcher of Truth for card draw and he recycles your graveyard. and Seedborn Muse is dickish when playing with friends (same reason I don't have Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger in the deck). The game is no fun when you really don't have a challenge.
As for Omnath, Locus of Mana... I just don't like him. His ability is more geared towards a voltron theme in my opinion.

How about Eye of Ugin to search for all your colorless baddies?
July 24, 2015 1:07 p.m.
Artemis_Swift says... #19
@SaniTheCat - I did forget about Eye of Ugin. Might not make it into the deck, but it's a strong contender. ANother eldrazi card I am thinking about is Eldrazi Temple. those two cards could make it. I just feel like I am taking away too much forest for non-basic lands.

I understand that. If you were to use the eye, I would take out a non-land, though since it doesn't tap for mana (I found that out the hard way in my kruphix deck when I played it turn 3 and then sat there with two mana in a deck that's entirely centered around having excessive mana...).

the deck looks great :)
btw, you should maybe update your text

Also Illusionist's Bracers if you thought it was worth it for Polukranos

In ramp-based EDH I really like to run Quicksilver Amulet. Yes, it doesn't let you cast your General, but it makes it so that you other guys can't be countered and that they are really cheap. I honestly didn't like the card all that much, but then I included it in Fires over Theros: The Cult of Xenagos and was very impressed with the results. Other than that, I'd consider th following: Worldspine Wurm - because if that thing doesn't get countered or path'd, you just win, Leyline of Lifeforce - because counter spells are annyoing if you're not the one casting them and Khalni Hydra because the lulz are strong with this one, especially if you have Nykthos out. Last but not least, Mosswort Bridge should be an easy free cast of one of your good things. Dig that!
In any case, big fan of your deck. Polukranos is something you don't always see! Sweet!

Mana rocks at all? Seems like Basalt Monolith, Coalition Relic, Darksteel Ingot, Mana Vault, and if you can afford it Mana Crypt.
Also, Mind Stone and Hedron Archive are good if you want more card draw and mana ramp.
Rakkhive says... #1
replace it with Worldspine Wurm .
