Mardu Midrange

Mardu Midrange, currently looking at building this, because it seems like it could be pretty fun and competitive. I'm impressed with the removal suite alot.

Disruption:

Inquisition of Kozilek This is basically proactive Spell Snare for us except it hits alot more things.

Thoughtseize Just as good as a hard counter, except it cost 1 and it's proactive.

Kolaghan's Command Great 2-for-1 that can Disentomb, Raven's Crime, Shock, or Shatter, and I get to pick 2, all at instant speed.

Liliana of the Veil +1 disrupts while applying pressure, the -2 is great removal, and the -6 demands an answer.

Removal:

Terminate Kills whatever we need for just 2 mana. Very efficient.

Path to Exile Kills anything we need for only 1 mana. Great, but not to be used early game.

Lightning Bolt No explanation required.

Lightning Helix Just like above, except for 1 white, we get life link on the spell.

Creatures:

Grim Lavamancer The lava man can burn out opponents or act as removal. With nothing else really feeding off the graveyard, he can just go wild. Really awesome creature.

Abbot of Keral Keep Pretty nice 2 drop that can grow with prowess and generates card advantage. Doesn't miss too often, can also hit lands.

Dark Confidant Best source of card draw in these colors, and with the lifegain in the deck, we don't care about him hurting us.

Lingering Souls Not a creature card, per se, but it does generate a total of 4 flying creatures, which are pretty hard for alot of decks to deal with.

Shambling Vent Not the greatest manland, but it's the best we have in these colors. The lifelink is nice.

Lavaclaw Reaches Another manland, can grow while attacking or blocking, not a bad choice.

Pia and Kiran Nalaar 'Red's Lingering Souls,' even thought we have a playset of souls, this card is just really great at grinding and presents a valid threat.
