U/G Delver is now picking up steam. It has all the tools to be a Tier 1 deck- Now its time to take it to the next level.
Question: Why should Wild Defiance only have one true home? But, does this make the since with Delver's Arch type. Yes, Sorceries and instances is Delvers strength. You must hit hard in the first 5 rounds to make Delver successful. So, why not take Infect's shell and incorporate it with Delver's shell.
Yes below scenario is Magical Christmas land, and no I am not normally a Infect player. Furthermore, I prefer Naya Pod or Red Green Aggro to anything. Until now, I just have not found anything I am excited about with Delver. I know Delver of Secrets fans, it wins, and its probably on the same level as Caw Blade (Far as win percentages in tournaments. (I am not TOTALLY SURE about that statement, if that offend any one, sorry. Settle down Caw Blade/ Delver fans, just speculating.)
Ok off to Magical Christmas land,Turn 1 Cavern of Souls (Naming Wizards) play Delver of Secretes.Turn 2 Flip Delver of Secretes with a Mutagenic Growthattack for 3 Flying with the Insectile Aberation. Play land per turn, Cavern of Souls, name Druid as your tribe, play Quirion Dryad.
Turn 3 Draw Forest, Play Wild Defiance. Attack with Insectile Aberation target this Insectile Aberation with a Mutagenic Growth. Attack for 8 flying, they've taken 11.
Turn 4 Draw Step: Draw a Titanic Growth. Attack step: Attack with the Insectile Aberation, target it with Titanic Growth. Wild Defiance triggers 3+4+3= 21 damage, its a turn 4 kill.
The only issue I see is all pumped spells are green, which does not interact with Quirion Dryad as desired. I am looking at Twisted Image for that; though it takes this from aggro to more of a control. This is where I need you people. What is his right balance far as the aggressive spells such as Titanic Growth or Twisted Image?
