Maybeboard

On Jund, everything eventually ends up in something else's stomach.

We're going to create a bunch of tokens... and then eat them. Not literally, our creatures are going to.
If I let myself, I could very much be a spike player. Tell me what is the best deck/cards to play are and I will do that just so I can win, but friends are more fun than winning all the time. So now I find myself wanting to build decks based on cards/mechanics/commanders that just sound fun, even if they aren't optimal or the best. We'll still trying to make this a competitive functioning deck though. For this deck I was looking through all the different card abilities and thought Devour looked pretty fun and not something a lot of people use, so let's see if we can build a deck around it.
[rant]Before I get too much into what we are doing with this deck let's discuss the concept of budget decks. I've tagged this as a budget deck and don't have very many expensive cards, but it's still a $100 deck depending on what cards you have and where you buy them from. So to me, $100 isn't budget (<=$50 I would say is for the most part).Though some people list their decks as budget, but to buy the cards would be like $300; so sure... this is a budget deck. In reality if someone was to buy your deck and had 0 of the cards we should use that as a guide to whether or not it's budget... right?[/rant]

So as stated earlier the goal with this deck is the put out a bunch of tokens, it doesn't matter the type we just want a lot. Then we are going to play any of our creatures with Devour, it doesn't really matter which ones and we're going to just attempt to win the game by stomping over people. If we can't get out enough big creatures we do have a few other ways to utilize our tokens to win. First we can just go wide and overwhelm opponents. We can also utilize cards like Impact Tremors to ping our opponents every time we play a token. We can easily pump Champion of Lambholt and get enough counters on Beastmaster Ascension to trigger it since we don't care whether or not our tokens die. Use Bow of Nylea to give everyone deathtouch, Fires of Yavimaya to give them haste, and Primal Rage to give them all trample. I like to mix it up when choosing my board wipes and this time I went with Plague Boiler and In Garruk's Wake. Grave Betrayal will make anyone think twice about wiping the board too.

I can't wait to play this deck it honestly feels like it's going to be a lot of fun and give us a different take on a token deck. I know there are some cards that would really excel in this deck, but their price is probably a little high. If we want to add an infinate combo to create tokens we can add Life and Limb to go with Sporemound and then Nature's Claim to end it, since it is not a may card.

As always I love hearing your thoughts and suggestions.
