i can agree with you on 2 out of 5 of those, i feel Crucible of Fire and Malfegor are worth keeping, but youre right coat of arms could kill me and Teneb's ability isnt worth it. the Elixir was to recycle anything i had destroyed but i can probably live without it, any ideas for cards to replace those with?

Ok, I think you may want Heartless Summoning . Its pretty popular in dragon decks. That one point drop in toughness and power is generally worth getting your dragons out earlier.

my only beef against Heartless Summoning is it only removes the 2 colorless mana, so it does the same job as Dragonspeaker Shaman but it hurts my creatures, BUT it could work out, having 6 or 7 or 8 cards that help me cast a 8cmc dragon for 4 mana is much better than just 4 cards. i think ill play around and add a few in. thanks!

id say cut rathi dragon think its counter productive with outcast and every dragon card. id also take out blood crypt and vault of the archangel for another dragonskull summit maybe three mountains to replace the lands . crucible of fire seems like overkill there already huge . Kilnmouth Dragon and Flameblast Dragon are two of my favs. Moonveil Dragon seems cool fire breathing for all. sorry tho never played with a dragon tribal.

Rathi Dragon is counterproductive. It sets you back far too much to be worthwhile, since you're going to need all the mana you can get to cast your bombs. On top of that, you only play 9 Mountains in the deck.

It appears I'm not the only one who got that impression.

i agree, take out Rathi Dragon and put in Slumbering Dragon , also, if you're splashing black why not consider Tragic Slip or card:Rakdos's Return?
November 4, 2012 7:52 p.m.
true i didnt think about Heartless Summoning 's -1 effect on my 1/1 creatures, replaced it with Tragic Slip and the Rathi Dragon s with slumbering dragon. but without a way to give my own creatures +1/+1 counters i might swap it out for a better dragon, approve? disprove?

it's really up to you, and depends on what you're playing againstsome decks might feel ''intimidated'' when playing against it and don't attack, others might have a way to get rid of it so they just attack anyways,do it really depends on your meta

most of the people i play with do utilize removal, so either way i have to hit hard but quickly. so in that regard i dont think theyll be very intimidated until it actually "rises" as an 8/8. ill swap it out for something else.

my brother has a red green dragon deck with parallel lives for dragon master outcast and sarkhan vol with druidic satchel he also has fog and lightning bolts for early attackers. also lightning grieves for dragon master outcast or any dragon. sol ring, quick silver amulet and Descendants' Path may be something to consider.dash hopes could be a counter for removal or 5 damage while high to play Asceticism maybe
November 4, 2012 8:59 p.m.
Asceticism would be a great addition, the last thing i want is to finally get out Hellkite Overlord and have it get Murder ed. its either that or Lightning Greaves if anything. ill see if/how i can work something in, ill leave out Lightning Bolt only because the 3 removal cards i have are sure to destroy a creature. thanks!

the most efficient way to speed up dragon decks is using Explosive Vegetation and Cultivate to throw down land fast, you can also use Dragon Arch and Quicksilver Amulet , what I would usually do is sit behind death spells until i get to dragon mana or artifact mana then cast them and throw down dragons. also run some Damnation they help alot when you are falling behind in the creature count
November 5, 2012 3:26 a.m.
if i ran Dragon Arch i would have to edit my dragons to make it more useful since only one of mine are multicolored, so Quicksilver Amulet would be my preferred choice, but yeah as you said the death spells are what i plan on doing, maybe throw some Doom Blade s in or something. if that doesnt work ill do board wipes like Damnation . thanks!

you may also want to consider AEther Vial , if you drop it on T1 you can get enough counters for your dragons

I'd highly recommend Somberwald Sage to get out your creatures faster. It works really well.
November 5, 2012 5:32 p.m.
o yeah and the deathspell you NEED to run is Terminate :-) its sick!

Drop Coat of Arms . You aren't going to be fielding dragons in the numbers you need to in order to make it a viable card. Weenie aggro decks will blow you out if you land that and they're playing tribal. Similarly, Crucible of Fire just seems unnecessary when you're already playing huge dragons.
Elixir of Immortality is not really necessary.
Teneb, the Harvester and Malfegor aren't very good. They're expensive and don't offer the benefits they need to have to justify their inclusion.
