I built a faster vampire deck like this before, and as I loook through yours im mistified why you have kalitas, I understand he is a vampire, but he is slow and doesn't synergize with anything, and has a high CMC. Could you please tell me why you run him. I'm interested to hear what you will say

I use him in my own version of the deck, although I only run one copy, mainly due to the card just being expensive. I only got 1 because I decided to trade stuff for it. He actually does have synergy with some stuff in this deck, first off thanks to Falkenrath Gorger, he can be discarded and then cast like the rest of these vampires. Plus there's lots of cards to sacrifice to him, and there's removal both in the mainboard and sideboard. Additionally sacrificing a vampire if Liliana is in the mainboard will trigger its flip. I love the card and even as a one of I still think of it as something nearly always good to draw.

I've been thinking about maybe putting him o the sideboard, just because he's meant for the decks that get me zombies, but he has done me well with zombie board stalls and it does send a shiver down my opponent's neck when I play it (I've been told this before xD)

Before in SOI, I could probably play this card no problem, but I feel maybe it's time to move him to the sideboard to add more 2 drops or maybe even Stormkirk Occoltist and Distemper the Blood. Playtesting will have to be a main factor for this upcoming set, and I'll probably be adding him to the sideboard.

Just so you know though, Kalitas is pretty much a late game bomb like Chandra, Flamecaller. Lifelink is great, you can literally just have it sit there and you'll being getting zombies with every turn.

Have you thought about running more of the black one drops like Indulgent Aristocrat and Vampire Cutthroat? It seems like taking the deck in a more black direction to maximize the utility of an early Stromkirk Condemned may be really strong.

I love the build and vampire tribal, maybe take a look at where I use Stromkirk Condemned in Mono-Black Standard Value to get some ideas or to critique. +1

You can also do thisTurn 1: Falkenrath gorgerTurn 2: Heir of FalknerrathTurn 3 incouragble youth, flipping the heir to do 9 damage on turnn, and if u attacked on turn 2 with the 2/1, then 11 damage on turn 3

Flamex111 you can actually replace Heir of Falkenrath  ^Flip with Stromkirk Condemned or Furyblade Vampire to discard Incorrigible Youths, all 3 combos work and deal 9 - 11 damage turn 3 :D

If you do, I had some of the cards from my previous deck, some I opened at prereleases, some I traded for, some I bought for.

Really it's a combination of the two.
