So I've always had a deep love for Duskmantle Seer. And I realized that now Scry is returning in Theros, this could be his time to dominate, as it lets you control to an extent how much it hurts you.
I want the Detention Spheres cause there seems to be a lot of troublesome things, and a variety, creatures with triggers on death, enchantments, artifacts, indestructible gods and the like. The bad part is, people could be having more enchantment hate in the first place. But I think it's worth it, at least for now.
There are clear issues with this deck. I still want some lifegain just for sustainability, and the best I came up with kinda stinks. Tithe Drinker and Fiendslayer Paladin are mana hungry and get out classes quickly. Blood Baron of Vizkopa can make me take 5 damage off an upkeep trigger, which hurts. Azorius Charm is my other option, and currently since almost everything lifelinks anyways, it's probably just gonna be used in it's typical purposes of cycling and top of library-ing. But yeah, I am keeping the post rotational or what evs, currently it's not looking good enough to build, but maybe it can get better! I'm open to everything, even switching colors.
TLDR: I just want to use Duskmantle Seer and Thassa. Please help me.
Placeholders:
Second Chance = Thassa, God of the Sea
Disperse = Voyage's End
Guildgates = Theros lands if they are that color, and some combo of guildgates/basics if they aren't that color.
