Not such a great deck... I have playtested it , at least 5 times... all I got out, were some mana makers. Try to make it more aggro. As an idea, it is great, but it needs more try :) here is my upvote :D

I wouldn't be so hasty with that judgment. T/O cannot simulate hand shuffling which arguably is better to prevent dead draws and 5 or even 10 playtests isn't enough to get a relatively accurate date collection

Keep blue, use Icy Blast, you have the creatures to use it correctly. Using it when opponents attack gives to 2 turns to recover... it wins games

QuackAttack- thats accurately really interesting. I'm having a really hard time with space. what do you suggest i replace for it?

ugh... exceeded the time limit while i was trying to edit.

on second thought... its great against aggro/midrange but not against control. also, it excels in a very narrow window where there is an even board state but its also not hard to be in a superior board state with this deck. Other factors like removal and counter spells are also relevant so I'm gonna put it in the maybeboard and wait for more input

Well when i see Embodiment of Spring i think of him as a T1, but looking at your mana it seems very unlikely that you will have the blue for him. I say keep blue for control, not so much creatures. At least your early game creatures. And yes i know hes an elemental and that is the focus but you already ramp enough. Maybe take all 4 out and put 1x Undergrowth Champion and 1x more Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip.

What about Blighted woodland (see it on Mythic Spoilers) it's basically an explosive vegetation on a land

QuackAttack- i actually really like Embodiment of Spring as its good early ramp and good fodder for Omnath, Locus of Rage and Evolutionary Leap. i have enough blue to get it out more often than not.

Awesomenator33- it'll go in as a singleton

Didn't look at the sideboard at all but god did this deck play consistent. Maybe I just got lucky on the embodiment's of spring but I constantly was having a 5/5 undergrowth champion out turn 4 and 6/6 woodland wanderers out as well. I even had a board state of over 30 power at turn 7 but I think that was with perfect curve. I like this deck very much and might play it.

I'd have to say that the rattleclaw mystics and the kiora are a bit unnecessary since you have enough ramp with the embodiment of springs and the shamans. Otherwise pretty solid build.

Varrick333- glad you like the deck! If you do end up playing the deck, pm me about the games since I am currently unable to test this out in paper.

TheWhiteFang- the rattleclaws are actually pretty crucial in getting the deck to the bigger beefier guys. Also, the kiora is amazing. She's ramp or filter, can't really go wrong. e.g. I had one play that went like this: T3 Shaman of Forgotten Ways, T4 Kiora, Master of the Depths, Woodland Wanderer w/ 4 counters, Embodiment of Spring. i was basically able to get her in for free and start digging for more stuff. I mean, what would you put in?

isn't 4 basic islands a bit low to play a consistent turn 1 Embodiment of Spring ?

September 21, 2015 5:27 a.m.

tempest says... #15

Yes but it's also hard to have a consistent opening hand with an Embodiment of Spring anyways. Besides, playing him turn one isn't essential especially since I often have rattleclaw to play turn 2 anyways

Hey tempest,

Atarka's Command is a must I feel. It fills so many of this decks needs and is just a great card. With so much mana available, I would maybe consider a full set of Omnath being that it's your win con.

I was wondering if you've found your creature count to be lite at all and if card draw is a problem? I've compiled a similar deck myself and I'm hoping to get opinions on any potential weaknesses from people brewing within the same archetype.

Great deck overall. If you have a chance please check out my deck Extreme Weather on Zendikar

Mercurial_Owl- which two abilities of Atarka's Command do you use the most?

September 21, 2015 9:48 p.m.

I wouldn't go changing much to combat a certain archetype until we start seeing the meta that BFZ creates. Anyways, your sideboard is great for dealing with control. I've been goldfishing a few hands however, and the mana doesn't feel right. The land count seems like it should be 24-25, instead of 23. Have you been having problems with this?

September 21, 2015 10:39 p.m.

tempest says... #19

yeah, but i figure i have so much ramp that i could probably survive with just 23. you think i can cut the Sylvan Scrying for another island and Undergrowth Champion?

Jundzan Elemental Rhinos

I run something like this list utilizing lots a elementals and Omnath, Locus of Rage. have a look and let me know what you think.

Probably thr ramp and 3 dmg to get rid of planeswalkers, but because life gain seems to a major theme in bfz and this deck has no efficient way to get rid of flyers really, it seems that all four modes could be pretty relevant.

Also Whisperwood Elemental is a good way to fight against boardwipes.

I like what you've got going, you're deck has been a source of inspiration/comparison for what I'm building: Elemental Rage

Tempic- will do. any suggestions for this deck?

I like it. I have a similar Incarnate Roil deck, check it out and let me know what you think.

As for this deck, I believe you have a very high mana curve even considering your mana creatures. I chose to run two Omnath, Locus of Rage because three copies of a seven mana cost legendary seems excessive. The same could be said about Surrak Dragonclaw. The haste effect from Temur Ascendancy doesn't stack, so I'd go down at least a copy of that as well.

I'm using Embodiment of Spring and Crater Elemental as early creatures that also function in the later game.

You may also want the ability to place a land directly onto the battlefield from your library using cards such as Sword of the Animist, Animist's Awakening, Explosive Vegetation, or Nissa's Renewal.

Could it use a bit of ramp like Nissa's Pilgrimage or Explosive Vegetation?
