This deck utilizes the "unfair" mechanic of favoring hexproof creatures versus the more balanced shroud. Whatever, stacking the ascended lawmages with enchantments gets them fat quick and they continue to grow as you restrict your opponents game options.

The exalted/artifact/fillibuster counters are just added bonuses for some variety.

(I'm revamping all my blue/white deck ideas and i love the lawmages for this set. Other attempt is going to focus on imprinting cheap counterspells to drive opponents into frustration.)
