Curse of Exhaustion + Knowledge Pool yo!

Too many Door to Nothingness . 2 of maximum! (+2 Knowledge Pool ?)

Needs 1x Mountain main board for Bonfire of the Damned .

And why Blood Reckoning ? Its not going to stop anyone from attacking. card:Curse of Death's Hold is way better.

You might want some Fog effects.

I'm digging the theme tho, it's a challenge. +1!

+1 My Blood Drive (Infinite Combo—s!). I found two infinite combos in standard in the same color :) it's a lot of fun.

Yeah I know about the Curse of Exhaustion + Knowledge Pool combo. I think I may put 1 or 2 in :).

Yeah, I'll also go 1x Mountain :P.

I like having 4x Door to Nothingness . I don't draw to many of them, and I want to make sure that I have one at all times :).

I like Blood Reckoning for two reasons: one is that it's less mana, and two nobody uses it :P. I like utilizing cards that no one uses. card:Curse of Death's Hold is to expected :D. Besides, it might stop them from attacking me.

This looks like a ton of fun... keeping it in standard I see >.<

+1!

It's insanely fun. And yes, keeping it standard :P.

Strangelove says... #10

There might be a reason there are "cards that no one uses" ;P

Lol I know. Did you see what I posted on your wall?

Since you're drawing a ton of cards and stuff, maybe a 3-of door would be good. Because nothing would be worse than having two doors in hand at any one time... Can you protect the door out of curiosity? Also vs aggro, Wing Shards or related stuff (Volcanic Fallout -type spells but in standard) might be useful? I'm not as much help here because I play commander mostly--my idea of stall is having Isochron Scepter with Counterspell , Ghostly Prison , Propaganda , and Moat in play with Austere Command in hand haha

Wabbbit says... #13

Yeah, that's what Bonfire of the Damned is in here for. 4x Door to Nothingness is to protect them. I guess I'm just hoping no one mainboards 4 artifact kill spells :P.

Lol yeah, I get what your saying. Man, Ghostly Prison would be awesome if this was not standard :D.

It is a really cool idea. +1. Check out a deck or two of mine, they're 5-color too:

Undead Dragon Hordes: Scion Aggro,

Think Fast! Bombs for Free

Would you check out a deck or 2 of mine?

Help Me With Gloom Surgeon!.

Glass Cannon.... Gitaxias?.

Love the combo but I felt it lacks protection. Set it off in playtest around turn 8-9 having drawn no Bonfire or Terminus . At that point any decent aggro deck should be feasting on your remains.

All i have to say is add Fog or a version of it and 4x. Here's why:Knowledge pool exiles a Fog or Clinging Mists or Safe Passage and you chump any spell for infinite fog. Knowledge Pool creates the best turbo fog deck KNOWN TO MAN. Also, if you aren't looking towards budget, Karn Liberated Makes an awesome win condition as well.

Wabbbit says... #18

So would you suggest adding in like 2x or 1x more Terminus , emrakool? If so, what should I take out?

user:Weston%20Ayarza, how does that work? So I cast a Oblivion Ring or soemthing, exiling it, letting me cast a card exiled with Knowledge Pool . In this case a Fog . So how is that infinite Fog ? I cast the exiled Fog for no mana. The only way that's infinite mana is if I have infinite Fog s in my HAND. Forgive me if I'm missing something, I'm tired :D

Hey! Great deck :) Needs more Wurmcoil Engine , but then again, everything needs more wurmcoils Loll. If you want to really test it out, you should try it as a Character in QUEST MAGIC: The Mtg RPG! ;)

What should I take out?

Fairly clever deck. I like the use of the Knowledge Pool and Curse of Exhaustion combo. I'd say perhaps add another Terminus to deal with aggro decks and maybe SB a DOJ or two (or just go with bonfire entirely).

Since BOP hasn't been spoiled for Ravnica yet, if its not in there then replace it with chromatic lantern and you're fine (albeit you'll need some way to ramp out a little.

Ok, thanks! I'll definitely consider what you said :).

cool deck! what about a Faithless Looting in there? helps you out on the off chance that you are stuck with an extra door in hand. or lets you get to whatever you need that much more quickly. i think an extra Bonfire of the Damned in mainboard might not be a terrible idea.

since you're really never going to win with damage it does seem that the Blood Reckoning are kind of pointless. though i like your explanation as to why you used them. by that same logic what about replacing them with Dissipation Field s? it slows down the opponent pretty nicely and creates hell for token decks.

September 3, 2012 2:16 p.m.

Wabbbit says... #25

Oh yeah! Dissipation Field is way better. What would I take out for 1 more bonfire?
