The focus of the deck is New Perspectives+
Hedron Alignment
. Cycle away your deck to find the pieces to align the Hedrons and win.
Five color option available with the sideboard.
How to Win
Shadow of the Grave will allow you to regain all the cards you cycled that turn, allowing you to repeat the process. This will often allow you to go through the entire deck (recommended that you don't as an opponent can make you "Draw" and lose"). Remember this though, if you have no cards in library and you have all the Hedrons online, you will win before you have to draw a card.
Scarab Feast is used to send one of your Hedrons from grave to exile. You can also use it to get rid of cards from your opponent's graveyard early game.
Mana Acceleration
Use
Weirding Wood
and Shefet Monitor to ramp up your mana. When New Perspectives is online, you can cycle Shefet Monitor to get untapped mana. The clue you get from
Weirding Wood
can be used when you have extra mana to draw more to either get what you need or to top off your hand for New Perspectives to go off.
Vizier of Tumbling Sands
is used to untap your lands to provide mana to cast Shadow of the Grave or if needed, to have two mana to cast Haze of Pollen and stay alive another turn to win on your Upkeep. Also be aware that using the ability to untap a land enchanted with
Weirding Wood
will allow you to start netting the mana necessary to cast a Hedron and set everything up as you go off cycling.
Control
For protection, use Cast Out, Censor, or Haze of Pollen to disrupt your opponent or flat out stop damage for a turn. If you don't need the cards then you can cycle them away.
Curator of Mysteries while on the battlefield will help you go through the deck as you cycle to make sure you can keep going. It is also an easy card to cycle away.
If your opponent gets rid of New Perspectives using Lost Legacy or by other means, do not worry as you can still win without your cycling being free. Just keep cycling until you get the Hedrons in place.
If your opponents start going after
Hedron Alignment
or you feel like taking your opponent in a different fashion, start playing mind games with them on which win condition(s) happens to really be in your deck.
By swapping out
Hedron Alignment
and you can change the win condition to
Faith of the Devoted
and Approach of the Second Sun. This will allow you to go the route of draining away your opponent's life with
Faith of the Devoted
as you cycle. Or Cast Approach of the Second Sun and cycle to hit it again and cast once more to win. You may feel the need to add an extra Approach just in case.
Archfiend of Ifnir and Sweltering Suns is available in the sideboard for opponents that create a lot of creatures that you need to wipe out.
Dissenter's Deliverance for artifacts (Mardu vehicles and Aetherworks Marvel decks)
