I did but im not a that much of a jerk. I like elvish piper but is is much more expensive and my friends barely want to play it as it is. If I make it too much better they will hate me more and never want to play me. =]

vine trellis+overgrown battlement=profit? i have a deck very similar to this on my account. it uses actual ramp over tokens or ways to cheat them out. It is a really fun deck to play with or against :P

Growth Spasm + Pattern of Rebirth makes for a bit of fun... though they would never want to play you again, I always try to factor in the fun factor.

Ever considered using the Axebane Guardian + Galvanic Alchemist infinite combo? As long as you have out 3 defenders (along with Axebane) you get infinite mana from him. Here's an exmaple (my lil' bro's deck). deck:blue-green-defenders

That was actually a thought that my friend and I brought up while play testing. The unlimited mana is lots of fun but there needs to be a purpose for it. Even with a deck that uses the largest creatures in the entire game, there is a limit to what I can play. Then we started talking about cards with x cost that would be useful. That is where we are at right now. I am currently debating on which card would be the best to make use of the unlimited mana. I could go with green cards with x in the mana cost but I can't remember what they all do right now. Or I could run mill like you do. I will have to test a few things out.

Gelatinous Genesis , Genesis Wave , Nourishing Shoal , Strength of the Tajuru , Helix Pinnacle , Wurmcalling , Orochi Hatchery look fun with infinite mana in green. If going the Genesis Wave route I'd recommend running something like Creeping Renaissance so you can flashback in case of board wipe.

If splashing blue for the Axebane Guardian combo, you've always got your target player draws X or puts the top X into their graveyard cards.

There's also Syncopate to prevent them disrupting the pattern, Primordial Hydra for infinite baby punting, and card:Ludevic's Test Subject, because you can crank out the counters and get this big mean Lizard Thingy! The nice part about these is that your friends still stand a chance-they won't get mad if they can just Oblivion Ring or Murder the things!

Baby punting lol. I think Helix Pinnacle is the winner because of my meta. The only that that ever really stops this deck is my best friend who made a azorious deck that uses the silly little Venser, the Sojourner combo with Stonehorn Dignitary . His deck is really good and is the only deck that I have ever played against that can deal with a turn 4 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre . Infinite mana with an alt win con is the best way to go.

Freed from the Real might be a better choice to untap. Running Blue would give you a little more access to some awesome walls such as Wall of Fog.

I once had an eldrazi deck that used eldrazi spawns with mana ramp, lightning greaves and Deathrender ; killed people very fast! You should consider it

I really like that card. I might not use it for this deck but I am going to make a deck that uses it now in modern. Thank you very much for the suggestion.

since you have Umbral Mantle in the sideboard just want to point out there is Viridian Joiner who goes infinite with it and is green.

Have you thought of adding the Urza lands? Those with quicksilver amulet can be super devastating.

December 4, 2012 8:59 p.m.

MR H3AT says... #22

I actually own the urza lands and I have tried them out on multiple occasions. I came to the conclusion that they just took too much and without any real benefit. They always showed up when I needed green sources, they required me to add 4x Expedition Map which slowed me down and took up space, or sometimes I could get lucky and pull Primeval Titan , and I found that my wall ramp was just better and faster. If I was using any other type of ramp, the urza lands would be in for sure. Thanks though.

Nice idea. I haven't seen a working modern eldrazi deck since Tron has been established. +1!

Add another Emrakul, the Aeons Torn for infinite turns combo. Remove Primal Surge , because you have other nonpermanents too.
