hey, you should think about Grim Tutor and Imperial Seal. Strictly worse than Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor, but could add some redundancy, and are probably cheaper because of that too.

Hey, you want to give me $500 to spend on terrible cards, then I'm all for it.

So I'm thinking of swapping out Liliana Vess for either a Baleful Force, Skeletal Scrying, or Dark Prophecy. Thoughts?

I think youll be giving up a really good card lol id swith it out for Army of The Dammed or Rise of the Dark Realms if your really thinking about taking that out as for the others maybe theres another card you can switch out cause her second ability and her ultimate is awesome
March 21, 2015 1:02 a.m.
I would go with Dark Prophecy because it keeps the curve lower and Skeletal Scrying is decent but a one time use

I think you should switch out Strionic Resonator for Mimic Vat or something.

I was leaning toward Baleful Force, but you're probably right about Dark Prophecy. Liliana's ultimate is powerful, but I'd hardly ever get there since I'm using her -2 ability most often.

I have a few suggestions.1. Go to youtube and watch TOLARIAN Community Colleges video on teysa, orzhov scion2.make changes or thoughts about changing your deck based on the video

peter03329, I'm going for a non-combo deck. And while going the sacrifice route is a good tactic for a competitive Teysa deck, I'm going for a recursion ETB/ETG style of play. I will add in the Dark Prophecy rather than the others since it will get the most utility and seems to be the most suggested, even in that video. They do make some great points, and sometimes I've thought of making a token/competitive combo version of this deck to play against other competitive decks. I may still do it, though our playgroup doesn't run much infinite combo...aside from a few bastards.

Yea im totally against infinate combos too unless i discoverd them myself. Like this one Harvester of Souls + Deathrender + Mortuary with any (ETB) effect Creature.

That combo is pretty hilarious...stick it on an Ashen Rider and wipe out your opponents everything. Or Kokusho, the Evening Star to kill everyone.

i have not built a deck around that combo yet. the thing is about combos that require 4 pieces is its going to get disrupted once its seen, by the people you play with. i'm all about things people don't see coming. like Blood Tribute + Sanguine Bond and any untapped vampire. what combos do you play with? they don't necessarily eec to be infinite or instant win, they just have to be good or fun. those are the combos i look for

I run a few random ones in my Scorching Winds. The Stuffy Doll + Volcano Hellion combo is hilarious, especially if you have Personal Sanctuary in play. I suppose having Sheoldred, Whispering One + Yosei, the Morning Star is a good way of locking someone down. Other than those kind of combos, I try to keep it as friendly as possible.
March 23, 2015 5:02 a.m.
Volcano Hellions damage can't be prevented by Personal Sanctuary.

Lol, yep. I forgot it wasn't Personal Sanctuary, I meant Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
March 23, 2015 2:19 p.m.
i like Dark Prophecy over Harvester of Souls do to the fact it hits tokens

It wins by attacking...eventually...after you've been locked out or crippled first.
